area. Vermillion’s unique history, art, and culture inspired the design of the downtown beautification, including new walking areas, lights, benches, artwork, signs, and scenery. The downtown area serves as host to some of Vermillion’s most vibrant and celebrated events such as the summer Thursdays on the Platz concert series, the Ribs Rods & Rock N’ Roll nationally certified BBQ and concert event, and the holiday standstill parade of lights.
