INTERNATIONAL DELEGATIONS AND NETWORKING WITH NAFCOC

The National African Federated Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NAFCOC) in its pursuit to advocate, lobby and assist its members to actively participate in the mainstream economy, not only in the private and public sector, but we also endeavor to gain access to markets for members and seek beneficial working relationships with internal organisations and countries This essentially means that members can participate in service and goods exchange in markets where they would otherwise not have access to The international market is beginning to see South Africa and the rest of the continent as an equal trading partner, it is becoming more apparent that the Embassies or Consulates based in South Africa are a gateway to having the beneficial impact of having to tap into commodities exchanges and services exchange with our members and through their business desks ,making it easier for us to go into roundtable and networking sessions where we can actively negotiate and chase markets for members

NAFCOC President Mr Gilbert Mosena and the NAFCOC Gauteng Leadership recently hosted a delegation from Peoples Republic of China, the Standing Committee of the United Front Department of Chenzhou City in Huan Province to promote business cooperation and explore more possible opportunities between South Africa and Chenzhou in collaboration with Delmas Municipality and the South African Mining and Minerals Chamber (SAMEC) a sector affiliate of NAFCOC This is an example of how Private Public Partnerships with local and international organisations can come together to service members
Our new working relationship with SCNET will see the revolutionized and easier way for our members to do business and service private, public organisations, the rest of the African continent and the world
The partnership will improve and fast track the turnaround time in tendering and bidding for contracts with almost instant results The “NAFCOC Trade Portal “will utilize 4IIR technology in its highest form, this will be a user-friendly system that will allow members to advertise and trade services effectively at a fraction of the time

NAFCOC under the leadership of Mr Gilbert Mosena as the President and working with the NAFCOC Gauteng leadership have steered the partnership with SCNET with one goal in mind, to give the members of NAFCOC a better chance to access markets, local and internationally, to trade and exchange, without the heavy burden of waiting for months and filling endless paperwork to tender
