Home Learning Suggestions As part of your topic on ‘There’s no place like home’, you are required to complete 4 pieces of home learning. You can select any activities from the list below or come up with your own ideas to suggest to your teacher. You can complete more during your free time on Friday afternoon if you wish. Write a fact file about yourself including important information people might not know about you.

Topic
Make a model of Lancaster castle. Bring it in or take a photo of your castle.
Create a timeline of Lancaster through the ages. Record dates and what happened.
Research Ashton Memorial and create a fact file about it including why it was built and by whom.
Visit a local museum to find out about Lancaster in the past. Take photos or draw pictures and record what you have learnt.
Play a board game with your family. Take a photo and stick in your project book.
