Impact  Swimming Lessons – Year 3 children are taught to swim, learn survival skills and gain confidence in the water. This is a grounding for the curriculum swimming lessons children receive in Year 6.  Zumbini – Reception Class. This programme enables children to gain experiences in 3 Early Years Goals (Expressive Arts and Design, Personal, Social and Emotional Development and Physical Development)  Purchase of Yoga mats for Enrichment Afternoons – introduction of a multi-age activity – Yoga Pretzels - to be offered to the whole school. Children sign up on a half termly basis and take part in a variety of activities on offer, which last 6/7 weeks of the half term.

They then sign up to a different activity for the next half term, ensuring a wide range of enrichment in a variety of life skills. Yoga Pretzels is all about teaching mindfulness, reflection and meditation for better wellbeing. This resource will also be used during PE less  Sky/British Cycling 6 week lesson for Year 6 and 6 week After School Club for 16 children – teaches cycling skills that build on the Year 6 Bikeability course. Encourages cycling for fitness and competiveness.  Subsidy/full cost of Extra Curricular Clubs – encouraging children who may not have otherwise been able, to take part in a wide variety of sporting activities outside of the school day.  Subsidy of Residentials and trips in school time – helping parents afford for their child to take part in exciting physical activities that they would not normally be able to access.

Through funding from the PE and Sport Grant, school is able to offer a wide range of sporting experiences, which are carefully chosen and intended to make a difference and shape children’s lives for the future.

Our school sports teams enjoy a good level of success in competitions and we have seen an increase in participation in sporting activities because of the opportunities we are able to offer.
