Nursery - Year 5 Class Photograph Orders If you would like to order your child’s class photograph please send in the order and payment either cheque or cash in the envelope provided no later than Wednesday 5th October.

Over the last two weeks our Y5/6 football team have competed against 7 other schools in Skelmersdale. I am pleased to announce we have qualified for the champions’ league on Tuesday 11th October. Well done to all who took part. Team: Harvey, Lloyd, Lewis, Eva, Aaron, Joe, Rueben, Alan, Nathan, Benjamin and Tony. ATTENDANCE Wrap Around Care Please ask at the office for information on our Breakfast Club and Afterschool Childcare Club. Children can now be in school from 8.00am till 5.45pm enabling parents and carers to work knowing their children are safe. We are currently offering an amazing discount for booking and paying for in advance. If you book 4 weeks or more and pay in advance we will give you 25% discount off the whole booking. For example: Book 1, R to Y6 place for 3 full nights a week for 4 weeks should be £72 with the discount it will only be £54. Please call in to the office for more information and booking forms.

The minimum acceptable attendance is 96%. If a child misses 8 days or more a year they will not achieve 96% this is reportable to Lancashire County Council and may result in a Penalty Notice being issued. Please ensure your children are in school every day and on time. School starts at 8.55am.

Fundraising We are starting up a PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) to help raise funds for the children of our school. The money raised will go to resources and/or trips unless otherwise stated. If you are able to give up some time during the year and bring ideas to the group, please see Miss McKnight or leave your name and contact details at the school office.
