Introduction
The OLEVI Teaching and Learning Programmes are now well established and highly valued CPD opportunities. The Wigan and West Lancashire Catholic Schools Direct partnership are collaborating to offer a uniquely diverse and rich experience aimed at improving the quality of teaching and learning within a Catholic context. Each programme will be delivered at several venues, providing a broader and deeper perspective for participants. The same facilitators will deliver each programme to provide a stable learning platform for the group. St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic high school is the lead school for the programme but sessions will be hosted at a number of Catholic schools within the partnership to allow participants to experience teaching and learning through learning walks at each school. Prior to each programme commencing, participants will be provided with all the necessary details collectively. This programme is for schools and teachers, who want to advance, develop and improve their teaching practice and deliver consistently good lessons.
