CONGRATULATIONS • Rafferty Knight on Sunday 20th March Rafferty went to London to the National Karate Competition. There were competitors from England & Ireland. Rafferty was one of the first to perform and managed to get into the finals. He went on to win a silver medal in the Kata section for U10s. Rafferty will now be going to the final England selection to see if he has made it into the England Karate team! Well done, Rafferty! • Monty Bailey who took part in 2 Rugby Tournaments, the Kent Mini Rugby Festival where his team was undefeated, winning 4 games and drawing 1 and Old Colfeans Tournament where his team came 2nd in the Kent Division. • Sophia Clemens awarded Grade 1 Singing with Distinction. • Oliver Stockham awarded Man of the Match by Rotherfield Football Club. • Charlie Denney took part in a three mile sponsored walk for Sports Relief raising £1,000! • Freya Griffiths awarded Goldfish Level 3 Swimming • Lorraine Deschamps-Smith awarded Octopus Level 3 Swimming • Max Whittington who took part in a triathalon coming 3rd place • Honor Goodman has successfully qualified for a Pen Licence. Well done! SPECIAL MENTIONS One of the loveliest aspects of my role is receiving visits from children who come to share their good news. This week I have had a steady stream of visitors to show me their wonderful work around the themes of the Easter season, Reconciliation and Works of mercy. I am delighted to share with you some of their work – and hope it will brighten your day, too!`
