Dear Parents/Carers This is a short note to inform you of the things you and your child will need to know for September.
All children should return to school on Monday 5th September. Nursery and Reception times – 8.55am until 3.20pm. Key Stage 1 and 2 times- 8.55am until 3.30pm. Breakfast Club from 8.00am –sessions must be booked prior to attendance (Reception – Year 6 children only). Aftercare Club- 3.30pm until 4.00pm (children must be picked up by 4.00pm at the latest; all sessions must be booked prior to use- Reception to Year 6).
School uniform:
All children must attend school in full uniform. This includes black school shoes with black soles (no boots, pumps or coloured trainers). All uniform should all be labelled with your child’s name and class. Only St Anne’s school bags will be allowed; back packs and fashion bags must not be brought to school as we have nowhere to store them. Packed lunches should be in an appropriate lunch box that helps to keep good cool. Children in Reception – Year 6 will require a PE kit consisting of a white t shirt, blue shorts and pumps or trainers. This should be kept in a draw string bag with your child’s name on all items. Pencil cases and personal items must not be brought into school; your child will be provided with all the equipment they need. Earrings are not allowed in school, if your child is having their ears pierced they should be done in the first week of the holiday so that earrings can be removed once school starts. Year 4 children, and children in Year 5 who did not go swimming this year, will need swimweargirls need a one piece swimming costume and boys swimming trunks, swimming caps are available from the school office and must be worn for long hair. Your child will also need a towel (further details to follow).
Payments for school dinners, clubs, uniform and trips.
To avoid arrears and the handling of cash please make arrangements with the school office to pay for school meals, clubs, uniform etc. via School Gateway.
