Jarbola Bouncy Castle Toy stall Soak the teacher Guess the number of balloons in a car WE NEED YOUR HELP! Any unwanted toys which are in good condition for resale on the toy stall, should be brought into school next week. Please bake cakes, tray bakes or buns for us to sell on the cake stall as these always sell well. Contributions for the Jarbola should be brought to your child’s class teacher during the course of the week. Empty jars are available from school or you can supply your own. Be creative with the contents!
Book Audit Staff have begun the process of logging all of the books in the school onto a computerised system ready for a September start to Accelerated Reader. This is a very simple but time consuming activity which we would like to complete as soon as possible so that reading books can be redistributed. If you are able to spare half a day or even a full day to help with this process, please contact the school office as soon as possible and we will arrange a slot. Training will be provided and you do not need to be particularly good with computers! Thank you.

Sports Day Postponed Because of the recent wet weather, the school field is not in a fit state for Sports Day. This event is therefore postponed until 20th July. Should the weather still be poor for the reserve date, we will hold a mini indoor event instead.
Year 6 Play Please could any volunteers willing to help make scenery for the play introduce themselves to Mrs Clark or Mrs Owens as soon as possible. We are also looking for donations of large pieces of cardboard which may be dropped off at the school office. Thank you.
School Walk We now have the staffing and qualifications needed for this event to take place and have set aside a date of Friday 15th July. This will be confirmed when we get the okay from LCC who will thoroughly check the risk assessment and respond as soon as possible. It has been impossible to allow KS1 children to do the level three walk and summit Boulsworth as the level of supervision required is unworkable. We hope to do this event annually so they will have the opportunity when they reach KS2.
