Messages from Moor Hey Newsletter Number 35 (24.6.16) Year 11 Leavers and Prize day Our Year 11 pupils left today. We say a fond farewell to: Clifford C, Connor C, Liam H, James H, Sean P, Erikas S, Luke T, Charlotte W, James W and Marc W. We wish them every success for their future! Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat Our drama group will be performing ‘Joseph’ on th Tuesday 28 June, 6.00pm at Penwortham Young People’s Centre, Priory Lane, Penwortham. Parent Governor Election We have a place for a Parent Governor on the Governing Body of this school. You will have received a Nomination Form which needs to be returned by Thursday 7th July 2016. Ballot papers will then be sent to all parents/carers, which must be returned by noon on Friday 15 th July 2016. Votes will be counted at 12.30pm on Friday 15th July 2016, after which the result will be announced. Sports Day Sports day will be held on Monday 18th July in the afternoon (weather permitting).
Summer 2016
Special Lunch Our final special lunch of this academic year will be on Thursday 14th July. We will be having a French Day lunch which will cost £2.20. If your child does not usually have school dinners, but would like to take part, please complete the Order Form on the reverse of this newsletter. Dates for your diary: Tuesday 28th June – Joseph performance Thursday 30th June & Friday 15th July – Transition day for new pupils or moving class in September Sunday 3rd July to Friday 8th July - 4 selected pupils to Stonyhurst. Thursday 14th July – Year 7 Educational visit to Eureka Thursday 14th July – French Day lunch Monday 18th July – Sports Day Friday 22nd July – Break up for summer at the end of the school day.
