“Springfield and the Team Purebred National Junior Show is a place that changes many people’s lives and allows core memories to form. This year everyone was ‘Groovin’ to the Beat’ with music, balloon arches, and LOTS of dancing. We started off strong on Monday with quick and efficient load-in. Once everyone got settled in we had some Bites and Beats with food trucks, face painting, and live music from Scott Shelby to end the night. Tuesday was Sweepstakes Day where all of the exhibitors brought the heat right away for showmanship. That afternoon the kids set their whips down and dominated the rest of the contests. We ended the day with a very

competitive SC Online Sales Volleyball Tournament where everyone got to let loose before the gilt show the next day. Wednesday consisted of one of, if not the most competitive gilt shows National Junior Show has ever had. After having an unforgettable champion drive under the lights and smoke we ended the day with a costume contest that you did not want to miss, a pizza party for the exhibitors, and a dance party hosted by Showpig.com, where our very own little Beckett Sheldon gave us a show singing on the microphone. Thursday, the exhibitors brought the heat one last time for our barrow show that was deep as ever. Before kicking off the Champion Drive we retired some of the best Junior Board members to have been apart of Team Purebred and embraced a bittersweet moment. The speeches were given and hands were shaken just in time to conclude our National Junior Show with Sweepstakes Awards. Team Purebred prides ourselves on making sure everyone gets the best experience, win or lose. The 2024 National Junior Show was definitely one to remember.”

From the Director’s Perspective

"As we continue to wrap up Summer, all I can think is Thank You. Thank you to my team, to our volunteers, our sponsors and more than anything to our families and exhibitors! The National Junior Show was filled with so many core memories, laughs, and many dance moves! We loved "Groovin to the Beat" with you all This event is always packed to the max with continuous family fun for all the ages and we want to continue to build on the positive experience that we focus on for all the families throughout our next events this year! This year had some really awesome highlights for us as a team and as an organization! Four individuals that I can not forget to mention are our four retirees from our 2022-2024 junior board team Grayson Tedrow, Isabelle Doherty, Hailee Dannenberg, and Bobby Satterfield are some of the most impressive individuals I have had the pleasure to work with I am forever in their debt as they took a chance on a director they had never met and an organization at that point of some uncertainty. I am truly thankful to them day in and day out. It has been a pleasure watching them grow as individuals, but also as a team together to build a better organization for the families that are near and dear to their hearts.

Make sure to head over to teampurebred.com to take a look at the Fall and Winter schedule of events! We can't wait to see you all down the road and as always we thank you for your continuous support!"
