Right in the heart of Zurich is AURA, one of the best event locations in Switzerland. The passion project of dedicated gastroentrepreneur Philippe Haussener has reached a new level of excellency. It effortlessly demonstrates what an event location in the 21st century should look like. The future-orientated technical infrastructure of the event area and the flexible design of the set-up offer almost unlimited possibilities. This means customers can give their events a very personal touch. The space can easily accommodate between 80 and 900 guests, each taken on a journey to a different world by the 64  |  Issue 80  |  November 2019

unique 360° projection. At AURA, creativity knows no limits and the sheer size of the projection offers many brand-new opportunities for events. The AURA event team doesn’t only provide very individual support, but the inhouse tech crew and the creative AURA graphic design team also ensure that the events run smoothly from start to finish. For the gourmets among us, the AURA 800° Grill Restaurant is an absolute must. The meat comes from all over the world, but it’s exclusively sourced from handpicked farms, which are known for their high quality.

The American original Southbend Broiler is often referred to as the Rolls-Royce of the barbecues, and rightly so: the broiler grills the steak at 800 to 1,000 degrees, not in the classic way from underneath, but with infrared rays from above. This special method makes the meat particularly crispy on the outside and extremely tender on the inside. “If you’re visiting us, make sure to try the Wagyu Beef from the Australian Mulwarra Farm, the West Canadian Prime Beef from the Heritage Farm as well as our homemade Beef Dim Sum,” Philippe Haussener recommends. Surrounded by the beautiful grill aroma, guests can enjoy the rare barbecue specialities in a marvellous atmosphere with international influences. It’s almost as if you are in a classic steak house in New York.
