Parish Clerk Blog By the time you read this all our celebrations will be over, so I would like to personally thank all the staff and the Councilors who worked so hard putting the Jubilee and Olympic Events together. I would also like to thank M R Pooles for the fantastic flower displays that they have created in the tubs around the village which will hopefully help us to win the best kept village competition this year. This is being judged between June and September so please help us to keep the village clean and tidy as we won’t be told in advance when the judging will take place.

Saxilby Holiday club will run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout the holidays for school years 2-6 from July 23rd to 31st August. The week beginning 6th August this will be replaced by other activities to be confirmed Each day in the holiday club will cost £10 per child and will run from 9am to 4pm. Wide range of activities including tennis, kwik cricket, arts & crafts, table tennis, rounders, football, Nintendo Wii, assorted games and competitions. Look out for our special activity days that will include: inflatable's, archery, mini go-karting and much more! Football and Tennis coaching and tournaments will also be run over the summer, dates to be confirmed - these will be run for ages 6-11 and 12-16.
