The Banners that we jointly purchased with WLDC still remain around the Village and will stay up throughout the Olympic Games. I think it gives the Village a celebratory feel that we have been part of this major event.

Parish Clerk Blog By the time you read this all our celebrations will be over, so I would like to personally thank all the staff and the Councilors who worked so hard putting the Jubilee and Olympic Events together. I would also like to thank M R Pooles for the fantastic flower displays that they have created in the tubs around the village which will hopefully help us to win the best kept village competition this year. This is being judged between June and September so please help us to keep the village clean and tidy as we won’t be told in advance when the judging will take place.
