APPRENTICESHIPS AND TRAINEESHIPS Can’t wait to get a job? Studying a TAFE SA qualification via an apprenticeship or traineeship is a great option if you want to earn money while you learn.
ONLINE Study online and let study fit in with your lifestyle. Many TAFE SA qualifications offer the option to complete some or all of your study online. You can still count on support from your lecturers, plenty of interaction with other students through email, forums and chat groups, and easy access to online assessments and study resources. To study online you’ll need a computer with an internet connection and some assessments may include online participation with other students or your lecturer via Skype. > Learn at your own pace and place. > Balance work, family and study. > Form virtual study groups.
LEARN ON THE JOB You can learn on the job via an apprenticeship or traineeship in all sorts of workplaces and roles – and not just in building trades. In fact, you can even start your apprenticeship or traineeship while you’re still at school. Apprenticeships and traineeships are available in a wide range of courses from animal studies, arts and design, automotive, children’s education and care and dental assisting to hairdressing, hospitality, IT, local government, business and more.
