DISABILITY SUPPORT
TAFE SA provides tailored support to students with disabilities, mental health and other medical conditions to make sure your learning isn’t compromised. Services include information and guidance, individual access plans, assistive technology and equipment, Auslan interpreting and other specialised services.
Studying at TAFE SA requires that you have functional levels of English literacy and numeracy skills before you apply for and enrol in a course.
Foundation skills courses can help students who need assistance with reading, writing and maths as well as broader skills in communication, problem-solving, teamwork and technology that are necessary to get ready for study or work.
LEARNER SUPPORT SERVICES
Learner support services provide additional case management support for disadvantaged students. This support addresses barriers to learning, enables retention in training and helps students complete qualifications and move on to employment.
LEARNING AND STUDY
Students can access a range of flexible academic support options including access to Studiosity, our free after-hours online academic tutoring service that offers on-demand, one-onone assistance by qualified tutors.
