To research a hotel that uses a fashion designer as inspiration for design with a similar design aesthetic Armani Hotel Dubai is an example of hotel that is like my thesis in that a hotel will be designed and inspired by a particular fashion designer and their aesthetic. Armani was successful in carrying over his unique design aesthetic to the interiors to the hotel, which can be seen primarily in his choice of materials, color scheme, and choice of furnishings. 2. To research the needs of affluent travelers who stay at hotels Armani Hotel Dubai is hotel of affluent world travelers who stay at his hotel for a home away from home. The luxurious material choices, exquisite lighting, hotel location, amenities and proximity to Dubai Mall are all characteristics of a hotel that affluent travelers need. 3. To research green design aspect of the existing building and how the approach minimizes the harmful effects of construction projects on human health and the environment at the site and neighborhood Armani Hotel Dubai is committed to preserving precious resources and creating a sustainable operation that benefits our guests, colleagues, the local community and ultimately, the planet. Their environmental policy follows Emaar Hospitality and Dubai Government exacting codes of practice. The hotel is Green Globe certified and is committed towards addressing energy consumption, air quality, and waste management and explore biodiversity initiatives, green procurement solutions and social sustainability opportunities.
