ersonal Profile: Irfaan Fredericks is a feature-film, commercials and television producer with over 10 years of experience. Irfaan recently Line Produced on the international TV series, SAF3, from the creators of Baywatch, starring Dolph Lundgren. He is also one of the Producers of the upcoming feature film, 13 Hours. Irfaan also served as a shadow producer on Dredd 3D, a US$40million feature film shot entirely in Cape Town. Dredd 3D was the first 3D feature film to shoot in South Africa. ix months after drying out, Benny Griessel’s first day back at work starts with high hopes. He wants to reconcile with his wife, achieve the promotion that’s been eluding him and find some stability in the maelstrom of his life. Fat chance. One young woman lies in a churchyard, throat slit from ear to ear. An American tourist. It can’t get worse. Until Benny realizes that she had a pal, another woman, who’s now running for her life through the Cape Town streets. Rachel Anderson – an American doctor, doing a sabbatical at Cape Town’s busiest hospital. As he starts to piece together who might be after her, and why, reports come in that she’s fled into the townships where life is cheap and for a young foreigner, deadly. Butting up against this is another case, that of a murdered music impresario, who appears to have been shot by his alcoholic wife, the beautiful singer Alexa Barnard. ursing is an essential service, and yet there is currently a shortage of nurses worldwide. This is because less people aspire to take on nursing as a career, and from as far back as the 1960’s, rich countries have been poaching nurses from developing countries. If this is not changed soon, this will lead to a crisis where nursing will become available only to those who can afford it. This story will be told in tracking the history of black nurses in South Africa, whose services are in much demand around the world.

ersonal Profile: While studying at the Durban University of Techonology, TV School, in Durban, South Africa, Marilyn worked in the I.T field, and achieved much knowledge which assisted her in the Film Industry. After graduating, she then went on to work as an Online Video Editor, for a TV Production Company, which aired weekly shows on a South African Network called SuperSport. Together with this, she then spent a few years on the Production side of the Film Industry, working in the Camera and Sound Dpt, working alongside names like Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner) and Olivier Rabourdin (Taken). R

oberto, a notorious druglord in Brazil, hears of a very rare plant in Africa, that presents a breakthrough, not only in medical science, but for drug merchants. Mr. Smith from Africa is the only man with this plant. Aliner, Roberto’s daughter, overhears him making plans to kill Mr. Smith once he has “dropped off” the plant. She joins forces with Mr. Smith, and they devise a plan to expose Roberto’s drug trafficking to the authorities. The two develop the plant, and create a cure for mankind.

he Family Puzzle is a Comedy Drama, with intrigue, romance, deceit, desperation, betrayal and love. The story follows the lives and challenges of two distinct families set in contemporary Mpumalanga. Both families are facing challenges that most families face in our society today, ranging from domestic and financial abuse, deceit and infidelity. The one family has an adopted daughter whose presence created friction between the couple as the husband is insistent on having a child of his own to continue the family name, while the other is a carefree family of a cougar with a rogue young lover who is all about spending all her money. The two women are friends but things take a different turn in their friendship when a personal secret is revealed. hen a young girl comes from an upper-class upbringing is kidnapped, a desperate mother tries everything legal to bring her back. Her husband George feels emasculated and wishes he could help but doesn’t have her strength so turns to the bottle instead. She meets a prostitute at the police station who tells her to speak to some other sex workers on Oxford Road in the hopes that they will know something. She decides to take the law into her own hands and finds out about a local gangster who might be able to help her. She goes to the township and enlists the help of a gangster named Luzo who will help her find her daughter. Luzo asks his righthand man Mustafa to search everywhere. On the journey we later find out that Mustafa’s sister was killed by militia which haunts him till this day. A determined Dianne and Mustafa take a journey into the underbelly world of prostitution, hijacking, child trafficking and the
