PROJECTS AND US

Humanity has created, is creating, and will continue to create. It has implemented projects, does so and will continue to do so. What kind of creations and what kind of projects humanity needs is increasingly becoming a strategic question of existence.

Are we sure of the need to implement projects for the good of humanity? The answer, which can certainly be “I am sure”, needs to be amended with questions as to which projects, which areas they are necessary in, which projects already are and will be a priority in the future. A priority for whom, the less developed part of the world or the developed part, or, without this distinction, for everyone in the world, on our Earth? Are they only for individuals, a certain group, or a selfcontained society? A small leap of thought in this reflection: health projects are necessary for keeping our bodies and mind healthy, but other related projects are also necessary. The findings of such projects are needed by the whole of humanity. The entire ecosystem needs them. Can this be achieved?

The developed part of the world has the knowledge, skills, financial means, adequate resources, organization and more to plan and implement new creative projects. Is there a part of the world that can direct creation, design the right projects, also the right strategy for solving world problems, for its development and existence, for example? It is not the only part of the world. But the sole idea of creation, strategies or projects is not enough. Projects also need to be implemented. Those who do not have the necessary means are not able to carry out projects or have great difficulty in doing so. They need help. Who can provide it and in what way?

A project is a process with a beginning and an end, when you reach an achievement that will meet the needs of everyone who needs and benefits from it.

Projects are processes, whose outputs enable the exploitation we set out to achieve in the beginning. They allow us to achieve direct, indirect economic and other impacts. Project processes, which can be connected to the programmes of several targeted interrelated projects, begin by determining project input requirements, preparing project start-ups, implementing projects up until the start of exploitation. The definition of project input requirements can be derived from strategies, development programmes and plans, and other needs, in particular addressing natural and other needs. It is the implementation of strategies (strategy start-up).

Projects are designed, led, and implemented by people who make up the project and people who benefit from the project's achievements.

The implementation of projects processes and project programme processes requires a project system, which consists of all the organized systems from management, project management, expert promoters, internal and external contractors, organizational units that connect projects to the business and all external requirements. Project system also consists of internal and external influencing factors that can either support or oppose the projects. From politics to individuals and all those who protect the natural environment, defend human rights and life in general.

I have come to realize that project management, as it is being used and developed, is much too focused on project management with all its very extensive instrumentation. Project management is organized in different ways and applied to organizational project management solutions. Solutions with project companies are becoming more and more common.

Project management forms all management in the project system related to the implementation of the project process, from the definition of project input requirements to the start of exploitation, and it is linked to project management and project programme management to ensure successful execution of projects or project programmes.

War has broken out in Ukraine, a war of demolition and killing. Many projects will be needed to rebuild and, above all, to tackle the mental suffering caused by this war. Projects and project programmes will also be needed to deal with the consequences that this war is causing elsewhere. The end of the war can be the real start of projects. When will there be an end to this war of murder?

I have spoken in a limited way about the global strategic crises and the causes of their emergence, I very, very briefly mentioned the projects of human development, hinted at what lies ahead, if we do not proceed in time and start to implement everything, including the projects, that is necessary to… How should I proceed after “to…”? Should I say “to stop the global strategic crises from occurring, to make sure that there are no new consequences of these crises, that there are no more new crises, that…” Again, I do not know how to continue. I would just like to make one point – and make it sound more like a question. Can we or “someone” cool the Earth enough for the permafrost to stop melting, so the sea levels stop rising? What solution will or should be needed to stop the Earth's temperature rising? And what solutions should there be so that we no longer have fires, violent storms, floods, water shortages, avalanches because of the warming of the atmosphere, that have marked this year? This is something that the project company that will have to design and implement projects must be aware of.

We are becoming POWERLESS, and we have a lifetime to reduce this POWERLESSNESS and live with it. We must do everything to prevent humanity's powerlessness from increasing so much. This is and will be the new constant of our lives.

If I add the words “unfortunately”, “it is unfortunately so”, “something will have to be done” and so on to this realization, we have done nothing.

WE SHOULD ALL BE AWARE THAT A PERIOD OF INCREASING HUMAN POWERLESSNESS IS COMING, THAT WE MUST IMPLEMENT EVERY CREATION AND PROJECT IN SUCH A WAY THAT WE DO NOT INCREASE OUR POWERLESSNESS AND THUS HELP TO PRESERVE THE EARTH FOR OURSELVES AND THE ENTIRE ECOSYSTEM, BECAUSE NOT ALL HAVE ANOTHER HOME.

We need to set up a STRATEGY TO REDUCE OUR POWERLESSNESS and implement it through projects and other actions. This is a need and our duty. By implementing this strategy, we will be better able to address and resolve the impacts and consequences of global strategic crises in a more efficient and effective way.

A project is a journey from the known to the known, a journey from the known to the unknown that will be useful, a journey from the unknown to the unknown use.
