ROME FLOYD COMMUNITY SURVEY (2025)

SURVEY BACKGROUND & RESPONDENT OVERVIEW

SURVEY BACKGROUND

The Rome Floyd Community Survey was deployed by the Rome Floyd Chamber from January 13th –February 21st, 2025, soliciting resident and business feedback on a variety of factors of strategic importance to the region, including but not limited to quality of life, business climate, community objectives, pride and perceptions, education and workforce development, and vision for the future. The survey collected input from high school students and college students in addition to all other residents and workers in the community. Demographic identifiers allow responses to be cross-tabulated and analyzed for relevant groups (e.g., young professionals vs. retirees; Rome City Schools parents vs. Floyd County Schools parents).

RESPONDENT OVERVIEW

A total of 3,850 responses were received. This is an exceptional response rate; the Rome Floyd Chamber and its partners have immediately set a remarkable benchmark in resident engagement via survey response when compared to peer communities.
