Each year as the seasons shift and Montana awakens in new colors and textures, I’m reminded just how special it is to showcase love stories set against this backdrop. This issue is dedicated entirely to the beauty, creativity and heart found in real Montana weddings and the people behind them.
In the pages ahead, you’ll find weddings that span the state’s most iconic and beloved settings, a romantic lakeside ceremony on Flathead Lake, a heartfelt celebration nestled in Paradise Valley and a mountaintop elopement in Glacier National Park to just name a few. You’ll also discover engagement sessions from throughout the state that show just how deeply rooted love can be in a place - whether it’s a field full of wildflowers or a golden prairie at sunset. These portraits don’t just capture a moment in time, they tell the story of where it all began. Every couple featured has embraced Montana’s spirit in a way that feels uniquely theirs, and we’re honored to feature their stories. And because we know the little details matter, we’re shining a light on one of our favorite trends: late-night snacks. Our friends at Gather 406 bring personality and fun to everything they create - from comfort food favorites to creative bites that will leave guests talking long after the last song plays.
Montana is more than a destination - it’s a feeling. Whether you’re just beginning to plan or adding the finishing touches to your day, we hope this issue inspires you to celebrate in a way that’s true to you and honors this incredible place I call home.
Surrounded by family, friends and the romantic panoramas of the majestic Spanish Peaks Mountain range, there’s no place like Montage Big Sky to say, “I Do.”
Sierra and Colton’s story began long before they even knew it. When Colton was just three years old, Sierra’s grandfather was his first wrestling coach, a connection that would come full circle years later. “When we got in high school, we were drawn to one another and quickly fell in love. From the beginning it felt like it was meant to be,” Sierra shared. After five years together, Colton planned an intimate proposal during a cozy weekend getaway in a yurt in Paradise Valley. As they took in the sweeping views of the valley below them, Colton got down on one knee and asked Sierra to be his wife. “To this day, my grandfather says he handpicked Colton for me,” she added.
Aubrie and Jake met in Bozeman and quickly bonded over their shared love for the outdoors. While their relationship began as a friendship, it provided them with a strong foundation for what would soon become a deep and lasting love. Three years later, Jake planned a laid-back proposal surrounded by their loved ones. During a friendly game of pickleball, one of their favorite activities, Jake got down on one knee to ask Aubrie to marry him. After celebrating with friends, they headed to a Cats game, where even more loved ones were waiting to toast to their future.
When it came time for their engagement photos, they knew Glacier National Park was the perfect setting. “Flathead Lake and the surrounding valleys hold a special place in our hearts, we’ve spent countless summer days there, making memories in the outdoors,” Aubrie shared. “We wanted our photos to reflect not just Montana’s beauty, but also the joy, adventure and deep appreciation we share for the wild places that have shaped our story.”

Mariah and Keenan met back in college in Bozeman. The two were introduced to each other at a bar one night, and while nothing out of the ordinary occurred, Mariah later admitted it was love at first sight. A few months passed before they began talking, but once they did, it didn’t take long to realize they were more than just friends. Fast forward four years, and what started as a regular day working cows quickly turned into one of the best nights of Mariah’s life. After a drive down dirt roads and dinner over ribeye steaks at their favorite local spot, the couple returned home, where, as usual, they started taking pictures with their dogs. But this time was different. As Mariah posed, Keenan suddenly dropped to one knee, opened a ring box that glowed against the night sky and asked Mariah to be his forever.

Abby and Hunter first met as freshmen at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, living just one dorm apart. At first, they were just acquaintances, exchanging casual hellos in passing. But as their friend groups intertwined their sophomore year, they began to notice each other more. By the time Abby returned from studying abroad her junior year, spending time together felt effortless, and their connection quickly grew. After five and a half years of dating, Hunter proposed during a family vacation in Mexico. After a day filled with snorkeling, Hunter suggested a quiet walk before their planned family photos. Abby reminisced on the moment sharing, “During the walk, he seemed unusually quiet, which felt a bit odd. We stopped so Hunter could write something in the sand with the shells we’d gathered, I noticed my family watching from a distance, with a photographer capturing the moment. That’s when I realized Hunter was spelling out ‘marry me’ with the shells!”
Brooke and Remy met at a group dinner in Denver, Colorado, in 2018. Brooke recalls, “From the moment we first introduced ourselves the connection was palpable, our eyes kept meeting across the table all night, as if we were the only two people in the room. There was an instant spark, one that neither of us had felt before. It wasn’t just attraction; it was that unshakable feeling that we had found something, and someone, truly special. It’s rare to meet someone who feels like home from the very first conversation, but that’s exactly what we found in each other.” After four wonderful years together, Brooke and Remy set out for a snowy staged photoshoot, but Remy had something else in mind. At a scenic overlook, with their photographer capturing every moment, he got down on one knee and proposed. Brooke shares, “The moment was everything I’d dreamed of, I was over the moon to spend the rest of my life with this man. We celebrated with champagne at the summit, soaking in the breathtaking views and the love in the air. On our way down the mountain, with happy tears streaming down my face, I just couldn’t stop smiling.”
Gallatin River Lodge is perfectly remote yet close to everything. Anticipation builds for what’s to come as you drive on the the peaceful tree-lined dirt road -- the stage is set for special moments to unfold as you say “I do” with your closest family and friends around you under the big sky of western Montana.
Although their families had known each other for years, it wasn’t until Stephanie and Joshua found themselves working behind the bar at an Irish tavern that sparks truly flew. After six years together, Joshua proposed on the day they received the keys to their first home they built together. “He surprised me after work at the house with candles, scattered roses and fairy lights and a charcuterie board as our first dinner in our new home together,” Stephanie shared. “As I walked into the empty house to the surprise, I turned around to find him on one knee with a ring in his hand.” What was already a milestone moment became one they’ll never forget.
Stephanie and Joshua always knew they wanted to elope, and Glacier National Park quickly captured their hearts with its majestic views and quiet mountain air. Though their celebration was just the two of them, thoughtful surprises from loved ones made the day feel deeply connected to their home, Australia. “My mum had sent over a personalised letter for me to read on our big day,” Stephanie shared. “I read this during our elopement in the park.” The surprises didn’t stop there, Stephanie’s best friend also coordinated a package for Josh to deliver, filled with something old, something blue and something borrowed which included her late grandmother’s embroidered handkerchief, a borrowed garter and a bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume. After exchanging vows among the mountains, the newlyweds spent the rest of their romantic getaway honeymooning in Whitefish, exploring its lakeside charm, mountain-town vibes and enjoying activities like horseback riding, golfing and hiking.
“I don’t regret any decision we made about an elopement Everything was perfect. If you don’t choose Courtney for your wedding photos, make sure you find someone exactly like her who is not only just there to take your amazing photos but to guide you, help you and support you in every aspect of your special day.”
Maggie and Edbo met shortly after her move to Montana State University for grad school. Knowing absolutely no one, Maggie’s roommate dragged her out to a fraternity party where Maggie recalls, “Little did I know that at this frat party fate would step in. Over a game of beer pong, I was introduced to this tall, handsome, charismatic, ocean blue eyed guy who said his name was ‘Edbo.’ He was immediately unforgettable, and so obviously smitten.” The next day, Edbo was working at the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market on one of the food trucks. Maggie’s roommate, insistent on setting up the pair, invited her to join her not knowing that Edbo worked at the food truck they were about to eat at. After ordering breakfast burritos, Edbo pointed Maggie out to his boss and said, “You see that girl over there? Someday I’m going to marry her.” While it took a little more than a breakfast burrito for Maggie to agree to a date, eventually his statement would come true and after dating for eight years, Edbo proposed to Maggie on closing weekend at Bridger Bowl at the top of Pierre’s Knob.

Not something I bought, but something we rented. We surprised our guests with a silent disco, our venue had a noise ordinance / quiet hours starting at 10 p.m. so this was our work around, and it was THE BEST decision we made.

Our wedding colors were white and blue so our something blue was everywhere! Our dress code also asked guests to wear white, florals or blue.

We didn’t do a special wedding exit but “our getaway car” post ceremony was our trusty old drift boat. A friend drove us to the nearest boat ramp where our drift boat was decorated and went for a float down the Yellowstone River back to the venue. That was something we both wanted to do. A lot of our relationship was formed by time on that river so taking a moment just the two of us, as husband and wife, in our boat was important. Riding up to our reception and getting to watch our guests enjoying themselves in the distance was a special moment.
VENDORS THAT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND
This is SO hard! Almost all of our vendors were dear friends of ours and they all went above and beyond. But if I have to pick just one, it would have to be our dear friend, Annie Roach, who did ALL the flowers for our wedding - including my bouquet! She’s not a “professional” florist, although her work could fool anyone, she blew every expectation I had out of the water. Since both our parents live out of state, we like to refer to her as “our Montana mama” because she treats us as if we are two of her own. She was one of my biggest supports during the entire wedding planning process and helped me bring my floral vision to life. Truly, we couldn’t have done this without her!
I also want to call out our photographer and dear friend, Danielle, as well. Not only was she wearing four cameras dangling off her at all times, but she was the real life energizer bunny and best hype woman! Any creative idea we had, like floating in our boat post ceremony or doing white back drop portraits, she was all in on. She not only brought the vibes, but her creative eye speaks for itself. As a photographer myself, I deeply admire how she sees moments and captures their raw authenticity. I am so in love with our photos and could not of had anymore fun taking them! Danielle is at the top of her game and a master of her craft.
After listing out their wedding non-negotiables, Maggie and Edbo went on to plan a “Love Is Best Out West” wedding weekend for 85 of their closest friends and family. The ceremony took place in an open field at The Tower House, where white flowers beautifully lined the aisle. Maggie wore an effortlessly elegant, flowy wedding dress from Anthropologie, paired with an oversized bouquet of baby’s breath for a whimsical and romantic touch. “The highlight of our ceremony was without question my younger sister, Mary Kate,” shares Maggie. “She personally crafted and wrote our entire ceremony. Her words were absolutely perfect and so personal. She hit every note of our relationship, from the very beginning to our wedding day. Her ceremony was intimate, heartfelt, hysterical, memorable and just so ‘us.’ We all cried together and laughed together, it was our love story for everyone to witness and enjoy.” After the ceremony, guests dined al fresco, savoring pizza from The Ugly Onion, followed by a playful silent disco and classic yard games. As the sun faded, Maggie slipped into a mini dress by Yellow the Label styled perfectly with cowboy boots to fully embrace the Western vibe of their celebration.

“Love this question because some wise advice was shared with us and hearing it made all the difference.
1) Getting engaged is like falling in love all over again. So don’t rush straight into wedding planning. Take some time, maybe its a couple months or maybe it’s a full year as it was in our case, to simply savor this moment and enjoy being engaged! It’s such a special and important time for the two of you and your relationship, so savor it.
2) Before you get serious about wedding planning and making any big decisions, go out on a date together and each come prepared with your top 3-5 nonnegotiables. And what I mean by a nonnegotiable is that these are the top things you value most and want to have on your wedding day. This list then becomes your wedding planning blueprint; these are your top priorities and top line items of your budget. Not only was this list helpful when it came to budgeting and keeping my DIY, Pinterest plans focused, it was also important because so much of wedding planning and decision making falls on the bride-to-be’s shoulders. But the grooms have opinions and thoughts about the big day too! If we had never of done this, I would have never known that one of Edbo’s non-negotiables was that I wear a dress and a veil, my plan for years was to wear a jumpsuit and a cowboy hat. But knowing how important that was to him changed my mind. We also never would have taken dance lessons and done a choreographed dance if that also wasn’t one of his non-negotiables. So I highly encourage any newly engaged couple to do this!
3) Make sure to find time on your wedding day for just the two of you. Put it in the schedule if you need to, but just do it! It all goes so fast and you can easily get caught up in the small talk with guests and the day’s to do list. Edbo and I are so happy we took some time in our drift boat, just the two of us, post ceremony to soak it all in and be husband and wife for the first time.”
Lindsey and Charlie met in college through Lindsey’s twin sister. Her sister and Charlie both attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While visiting her sister and before attending a party, they made a quick stop at her twin sister’s boyfriend’s house, which is where Lindsey first laid eyes on Charlie. “It was truly love at first sight,” Lindsey shared. Five years later, Charlie planned an intimate proposal at Lindsey’s family home during the holidays. As Lindsey stepped out of her car in the driveway, Charlie immediately asked her to hop on a golf cart. Before she could even ask why, he whisked her away to the lake where their goldendoodle eagerly awaited them. Charlie popped the question as Lindsey’s family watched from the back porch. “It was so incredibly special,” Lindsey recalled.

When it came time to plan their wedding, Whitefish was the obvious choice. Lindsey’s family had been visiting for decades, and during their relationship, it became just as meaningful to Charlie. With 90 guests traveling from Louisiana and Texas, the couple wanted their wedding to feel like more than a celebration, it was an invitation for their loved ones to experience the magic of Montana. Their vision of happy spring colors came to life at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, with bridesmaids dressed in a mix of pastel and floral gowns that mirrored the lush, organic floral arrangements of white blooms and fresh greenery. Lindsey stunned in a chic two-piece Anne Barge wedding gown her mom picked out before changing into a playful second-look for the reception. One of the most unforgettable moments? Their Louisiana roots shining through with a second-line parade from the ceremony tent to the reception, led by a saxophone player. Beneath a sailcloth tent draped in cascading greenery, guests dined at candlelit tablescapes and sipped huckleberry margaritas and Old Fashioneds while taking in the stunning lake views. As the sun set, the dance floor erupted to “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield, and the night ended on a sweet note with slices of lemon and vanilla cake. The evening was a perfect blend of Southern charm and Montana beauty.
“Prioritize what matters most –focus on the aspects of your wedding that reflect your personalities and relationship. It’s easy to get caught up in what others expect, but make sure the day feels authentic to you.”

Lexi, breaking tradition, made the first move by inviting Logan to a rodeo after secretly crushing on her work colleague for weeks. It turned out to be the perfect setting for sparks to fly. After a whirlwind year of dating, Logan crafted an elaborate proposal in the city they were living in at the time, Fort Worth, Texas. He created a personalized crossword puzzle that guided Lexi through their favorite local spots, each accompanied by meaningful keepsakes. The final clue brought them back to the restaurant where their love story began, and to Lexi’s surprise, Logan dropped to one knee as their song, “Golden Hour” by JVKE, filled the room. To complete the surprise, their family and friends joined them for a celebration at The Stockyards.
Lexi and Logan planned an organic and whimsical wedding day for 115 of their friends and family. Lexi shared, “Montana felt like the perfect destination; dreamy, yet accessible! And, a place where guests would be able to take advantage and create a summer vacation out of it!” Lexi wore a vintage-inspired Jack Sullivan gown accessorized elegantly with Oscar de la Renta statement pearl earrings and heirloom bracelets passed down from her grandmother. Meanwhile, Logan wore a traditional black tux paired with sleek black alligator skin boots. After saying “I do,” with the mountains serving as witness, Lexi and Logan joined their guests for signature cocktails in refined rustic lounge seating before indulging in late night pizza. As the evening came to a close at Sage Lodge, Lexi slipped into a sheer cream ruffle dress from Rat & Boa for the final songs and after-party at the Chico Saloon.
“As cliché as it sounds, take intentional moments throughout the day to step away and soak it all in. The day flies by and can feel overwhelming, so carving out even five minutes during the reception to be alone with your new spouse is incredibly special. Those quiet moments together let you pause, reflect and truly savor the magic of the day.”

We had a streamer send-off and drove away in a vintage '64 Mustang. The exit photos, with us getting hilariously tangled in the streamers, are some of my absolute favorites from the entire gallery. Those moments were filled with so much laughter—completely stress-free and purely joyful. It was the perfect way to end such an unforgettable day!
VENDORS THAT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND
Julia, our planner, went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly. She handled all of my oddly specific requests with grace and never once complained. Julia constantly reminded me that while not everything might go exactly as planned, the day would still be perfect—and she was absolutely right. We couldn’t love or appreciate Julia more!
Our floral vendor, Florence Floral Designs, exceeded every expectation I had. I came to her with a specific vision but struggled to articulate it clearly. Even with minimal examples, she not only brought my vision to life but enhanced it in ways I couldn’t have imagined. One of my favorite details was the flowers sprouting from the ground around the tent—a unique and magical touch that added so much character and charm to our day!

BOZEMAN - PRIVATE RANCH
High school sweethearts, Lily and Andy dated for nine years before Andy decided to pop the question. On one seemingly ordinary evening, the couple went out for a sunset drive. Along the way, they stopped to take a walk and take in the views when Andy got down on one knee and proposed. To Lily’s surprise, her family was there to witness the special moment and celebrate the long awaited occasion!
“Take the planning process day by day. The most important thing is that you are marrying the love of your life. The day comes and goes so fast, soak it all in while you have the chance!”
Lily and Andy planned a romantic and intentional wedding weekend on a private ranch surrounded by 120 of their closest family and friends. Each detail was thoughtfully curated, from their welcome party outfits featuring cowboy boots and custom-designed hats from their own brand, One Twelves, to the moose antler ceremony arch and antler chandeliers crafted by their family’s business, Antlers Unlimited. Lily walked down the aisle in an Alexandra Grecco gown paired with daisy-adorned Manolo Blahnik heels, a nod to her family’s florist heritage, while Andy wore a custom-made Italian suit complemented by cowboy boots gifted to him by Lily. At the ceremony, their Golden Retrievers, Moose and Buckley, proudly watched from the front row as the couple exchanged vows. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a unique cowboy hat branding station, adding a personalized touch during cocktail hour. But, that wasn’t all! The heartfelt details continued into the evening, as Lily changed into her mother’s vintage wedding dress, shortened just enough for dancing.

Maddie and Justin met at the Del Mar Horse Races in Southern California, where Justin, feeling bold after a few drinks, walked up and complimented Maddie’s eyes. She was dating someone at the time, so she tried setting him up with her best friend instead. Six months later, single and thinking about that moment, Maddie slid into Justin’s Instagram DMs. “The rest is history,” she says. After two and a half years together, Justin planned the proposal of a lifetime in South Africa, completely surprising Maddie with a moment she describes as “perfect in every way.”
When it came time to plan their wedding, Maddie always knew where it would be. At thirteen, she spent a magical Thanksgiving weekend near Glacier National Park with her dad and sister, a trip she never stopped talking about. That weekend became even more meaningful when she lost her sister years later, and she knew there was no better way to honor that memory than saying “I do” in Montana. With 115 guests gathered at Snowmoon Ranch, the day was pure mountain-chic magic. The ceremony took place under an open Montana sky, with lush floral arrangements of wild greenery, soft neutrals and pops of golden and burnt orange blooms lining the aisle. Rain began to fall just as Maddie walked down the aisle to “Tenerife Sea” by Ed Sheeran, but the moment she took Justin’s hands, the sun broke through the clouds. At the reception, guests sipped signature cocktails under a candlelit tent, while a vibrant dance floor kept the energy high all night. Maddie changed into a sleek white lace jumpsuit by Nadine Merabi for the party, pairing it with the ultimate statement piece, a cowboy hat that added a Western touch to the celebration. And when the final song, “Closing Time” by Semisonic, played, it was clear, no one wanted the night to end.

“Enjoy every moment of the planning process. It all goes by in the blink of an eye. Try to not be in host mode during your wedding day and actually enjoy it. Try staying by your partner’s side the entire night if you can! Use the welcome party (if applicable) to feel like you are mingling with all of the guests.”
Mary and Matthew met while working together at Flathead Lake Lodge. Mary was a photographer and Matthew was a mountain bike guide. They would go on to date for three years before Matthew decided to take their relationship to the next level. One day, the couple set off on a hike along the picturesque Highline Trail in Glacier National Park with two close friends. Mary reminisced on the day, “I prefer to walk ahead of everyone and Matt asked if our friends wanted to stop and get a picture together and I said no, let ’ s keep going until we get to the good spot! So, I kind of interrupted his proposal without even knowing. We got to my favorite lookout spot and took pictures for our friends and then they wanted to switch to take ours. Our friend Cole took pictures when Matt proposed and there were the most epic clouds sitting low on the mountains. It was the most perfect way he could have asked me to marry him.”

VENDORS THAT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND
Sarah Gasbarro, of course! Again, not only was she our cool, calm and collected planner but also our florist! She took care of communications with all the vendors leading up to the wedding, decorated the big tent with the most gorgeous flowers and lights, kept all of us in line, ran the day smoothly and professionally while still being personable and warm. Sarah went above and beyond for us but I don’t think it had anything to do with us and more everything to do with who she is as a person and professional. It was like working with your super intelligent friend - she wanted the best for us and made it happen.
Also, Nikki Baker, our photographer. Matt and I can kind of tense up in front of the camera but from the first time we met Nikki, it was like working with someone who has known us for years. Not only is she wildly talented in her craft, seeing the shot before making it happen, she is the most lovely person inside and out. Getting to know Nikki outside of just photography made it so much easier to be in front of the camera and act like our silly selves rather than being stiff and awkward.
Mary and Matthew planned a fall color inspired wedding at the place where it all began, Flathead Lake Lodge, featuring an abundance of flowers and most importantly a vibrant dance floor. With lakeside views serving as the backdrop to the ceremony, the couple shared intimate, hand written vows in front of their 98 guests. Mary wore a timeless wedding gown, accentuated by romantic removable sleeves and Matthew looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo and dark green bow tie, mirroring his groomsmen. For the reception, SG Weddings & Events suspended baby’s breath clouds beneath a clear-top tent which brought tears to Mary’s eyes when she saw them for the first time. And, in an unforgettable surprise to the groom and his love for Ultimate Fighting, the couple made their grand reception entrance with an electrifying personalized cameo from iconic UFC announcer, Bruce Buffer.
“I think there’s a lot of pressure on social media to include so many ‘extras’ and DIY projects for your wedding that you end up seeing on Facebook Marketplace a week later. We opted out of that and focused our time and attention on the big things - food, good music and everyone having fun were of utmost importance. I think deciding on your ‘vibe’ first and working from there is key.
At the end of the day, I think the most important part, other than marrying your best friend and partner, is to be present for the people who show up and cherish the relationships you can aspire to. Four months post-wedding, everyone talks about how beautiful the day was, how awesome the band was, how delicious the food was. It’s easy to get caught up in the little things and compare yourself with everyone else but 99.9% of your loved ones won’t remember the hiccups that may have been so clear to you.”

Tristan and Adam met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in college back in 2022. Adam didn’t waste any time trying to get to know Tristan. He asked for her number and the next day invited her to spend the day on the lake with friends. However, Tristan, as they now laugh about, left boating early for another date. Luckily, fate was in their favor and the following week they bumped into each other at the library. Adam helped Tristan register for a class he was in, one she had technically already completed, but she stuck with it just to get to know him. After a year and a half of dating, Adam surprised Tristan with a dreamy cliffside proposal at sunset in Southern California. Despite being in different states that weekend, Tristan in Newport Beach and Adam attending a wedding in Utah, he drove ten hours to California to pull off the ultimate surprise. With friends and family in on the plan, and the Dana Point Harbor as the backdrop, Adam stood waiting with a bouquet of flowers as Tristan unknowingly walked toward the start of her forever.
Favorite thing purchased for your wedding day
My best friend got me a Petite Keep Heirloom Keepsake Trunk with my new initials and a photo charm of my brother who passed away to go on my flower bouquet. Both were so special and sentimental. I now have the gorgeous trunk filled with little sentimental things from our wedding day, including the charm that was on my bouquet.
All of our welcome dinner china was vintage locally sourced by my mom and I in Montana! So fun and special!
On a less sentimental note, the white and black Stetson cowboy hat and branded Tecovas boots were a fun addition that we used for our bridal photos with horses at the Hamilton Stock Farm.

VENDORS THAT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND
Our videographer, John Walker, coordinated the sound with another great vendor, Yellow Seahorse Productions and pulled together SO MANY logistics for our day to all come together. Forever grateful to him and his efforts. It really felt like the whole town of Hamilton came together to make my wedding day happen. Our vendors were all incredible, but there’s something so special about the people in your hometown going above and beyond to help.
A big shoutout to the venue, The Daly Mansion. Hamilton was hit by a windstorm a couple days before the wedding knocking out power and bringing down trees. One of the hardest hit areas was the Daly Mansion where 100-year-old cottonwoods were uprooted and came crashing to the ground. The Daly Mansion's staff worked tirelessly around the clock to restore their historic arboretum and prepare the property for our event after the crazy windstorm.
“Don’t spend so much time worrying about every little detail being perfect that you forget to enjoy what the celebration is for! Enjoy being a bride, enjoy your time together in the engagement phase and enjoy all the events leading up to it! It is such a blessing that we get to celebrate and move onto this next stage of life together with the person you love! Enjoy it all and let go of the stressful details. Your efforts will all come together so perfectly!”
Tristan and Adam planned a Ralph Lauren-inspired wedding weekend for 150 of their closest friends and family. Set in Hamilton, the festivities began at Tristan’s parents’ mountain cabin with a welcome dinner followed by a morning-of brunch at a beautiful historic home her parents have restored in downtown Hamilton. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception unfolded across the picturesque grounds of The Daly Mansion where guests enjoyed charming details like white rose-lined aisles, custom illustrations of the venue and even horse and buggy tours of the historic property during cocktail hour. In true Montana fashion, many guests kicked off the weekend at the local rodeo, adding a playful Western twist to the elegant affair. The celebration ended on a high note with a send-off that felt cinematic. “We ran out between the white pillar-lined walkway with white rose petals, confetti cannons and our Ford Bronco, top and doors off, waiting at the end,” Tristan shared. “We blasted “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)” by Stevie Wonder and we will never forget it! It felt straight out of a movie. Seemed like the credits should start rolling in that moment.”

Inspired by the golden, honeycomb textures of Herb & Omni’s striking chef’s table, this whimsical editorial, brought to life by Love Monday Media, wove together culinary artistry and warm-toned romance. Shades of soft amber, marigold and shimmering gold paid tribute to the humble bee, creating a color palette that felt both grounded in nature and rich with opulence. Invitations by Lichen and Pines Letterpress set the tone with a design that echoed the venue’s striking architecture. For the ceremony, a golden floral installation climbed the grand fireplace arch, while rich blue velvet chairs added a sophisticated pop of color.
A floral masterpiece unfolded thanks to Blume Hill Studios, who crafted dramatic arrangements bursting with oversized peonies and whimsical movement. The textures and tones mimicked a garden in golden hour, effortlessly carrying the theme into the reception space. Tables were styled with a balance of earthy-meets-refined touches, while cocktails and honey-drizzled dishes, prepared on-site at Herb & Omni, reflected the venue’s deep-rooted dedication to locally inspired, chef-driven experiences.

The Belvedere is a rooftop garden encompassing beautiful mountain views and beyond in downtown Whitefish, MT.
The reenhouse is available year-round and provides a bright open space with stunning views and elegance
The Belvedere ooftop arden and reenhouse provides an exquisite setting for weddings, rehearsal dinners, receptions, business gatherings, or any special occasion- where elegance meets the open sky.
This whimsical rehearsal dinner editorial at Florabella in Missoula was designed with a maximalist, dreamlike aesthetic in mind. Field Five Flowers and Cosmos Floral set out to prove that florals aren’t just decoration, they’re a conversation starter, a mood-setter and the heart of the celebration. The tablescape came to life with a custom “Blue-Cupid” tablecloth by artist Daphne Sweet, adorned ceramic vessels and bold yellow candles. Most of the blooms, from smokebush and Salpiglossis to sweet peas and gladiolus, were locally grown at the Field Five Flowers farm and intentionally placed to spark wonder and create a setting that invites guests to linger, toast and connect.
Photographed by Jessica Dean, the shoot blends bold hues like bright chartreuse and deep plum with softer notes of apricot, pink and lavender for a palette that feels evocative. The venue features a striking installation of upside-down calla lilies which set the tone overhead, adding a sculptural element that elevates the entire space. This tropical floral-forward design shows that you can turn any gathering into a moment worth remembering.

Late-night snacks are more than just a fun treat. They’re the unsung heroes of the wedding reception. As guests dance the night away, there’s nothing like the surprise appearance of comfort food favorites to keep the celebration going strong. From sliders and fries to grilled cheese and nachos, these craveable bites bring a nostalgic, party-fueled energy that instantly elevates the guest experience. As the team at Gather 406 puts it, “It really makes our night as much as it makes theirs!”
For this mouthwatering spread, Gather 406 curated a lineup based on what they’ve seen consistently wow couples and guests alike. Pizza is their top late-night request because who doesn’t want a slice after a few cocktails, but grilled cheese, nachos and sliders are also crowd-pleasers.
“We chose items we know people love, with a little personal flair mixed in,” they shared. Each dish is intentionally made to be both delicious and easy to grab mid-dance. Fries come tucked into eco-friendly cups, and nachos can be pre-made or built by guests, depending on the vibe.
These aren’t your average snacks, either. Think grilled cheese with house-made fig jam, nachos with fresh pico and pickled jalapeños and pizzas with toppings tailored to the couple’s style. Everything Gather 406 serves is crafted with thoughtful details and serious flavor. “Late night bites are a great way to add a personal touch,” they said, noting how one couple chose nachos because they met in a concession line at a football game. Another couple opted for PB&Js as a nod to their college study sessions.
Of course, no snack is complete without the perfect drink pairing. Gather 406 recommends a playful margarita with nachos, Huckleberry Mules for just about everything and a bold Manhattan to bring a little sophistication to the spread. Timing is key, too. Snacks are best served around 9:30 p.m. or 10:00 p.m., just when dinner has settled and the party is hitting its stride. “As soon as the snacks come out, the guests start screaming,” the team laughed. Now that’s how you end the night on a high note.
