What’s New? Although the leaves on the trees are falling we as a Key Club have just set flight to soar to greatness and great new heights. Although the colors that surround us are slowly dying and fading into yellows, browns, reds, and oranges our truest Key Club colors are just beginning to shine and are more vibrant than ever. Many clubs in Division 7 are up and running with great new visions and aspirations for the fast approaching future. In my personal life, as you may have noticed from my selfie of me in scrubs to the left, I recently started working as a Medical Assistant in a local clinic where I have met many great new people and have had many rewarding experiences. I have been keeping busy with not only my new job but also applying to many colleges and scholarships. I too have been busy trying to arrange a Fall Rally and recruiting people for Key Leader. In the month of October I would like to visit each club more often and get to know each and every one. This month I would also like to help all the clubs set up and successfully execute Trick Or Treat for UNICEF as the moth come to a close. Overall, this month I look forward to becoming closer with all the clubs and creating a strong connection that will lead us all to great new heights.
A Word From Me To You Many members of Key Club always ask, “how do I keep my inner fire for leadership alive?”. The answer is simple. Two things are needed. One is an ability to appreciate the positives in your service and the second is a commitment to action and leadership. Every day, it’s important to ask and answer these questions: ‘What’s good is my service and leadership doing’ and ‘What needs to be done?’. When you have these two things your passion will burn brighter than ever.
