Rocky Mountain District Division 3 June Newsletter Edition

Greetings Division 3, once again. Just a recap, I am Marcus Garcia your divsional Lieutenant Governor, in my May Newsletter I mentioned that the 2017-2018 Rocky Mountain District Board would be meeting the second week of June. Further in this months issue of my Newsletter, I will give you all an update from our Board meeting. Table of Contents: -Board Meeting Update -Almost ICON -Circle K -Concluding Statements

RMD June Board Meeting As stated in the first page, the Rocky Mountain District Board met for an engaging weekend - where we bonded and got to interact with one another. Now this weekend was not just all fun and games, but we did spend a large part of our weekend surrounded as a Board with discussions on how each Lieutenant Governor from each division is currently doing. Great to inform you that currently the District is doing great.

The photo above is of the Rocky Mountain District Board, sadly only half of the board was able to attend this meeting. Just a silly photo we took of us blowing bubbles, that has become one of my personal favorite photos.

International Convention (ICON) Why go to the convention? Because it’s the biggest event of the Key Club year! Imagine celebrating the amazing things Key Club does with more than 1,600 Key Clubbers from all across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.

In previous Newsletters, I have listed reasons for key clubbers to see and to be persuaded for one of the Biggest Key Club Events of the Year, but here are some of the lovely tourist attractions that one could visit while on the Trip.

Experience the beauty of the Riverwalk that flows through the center of the Town. Right next to the Hotel that you will staying at for the Convention.

Walk around San Antonio and marvel at the historical sites that lurk around this area, such as the Alamo.
