Malik’s Journey
SEAN MALIK RUSSELL BOWMAN, affectionately knownas"Malik"wasbornAugust14,1994.
He was predeceased in death by his mom, Regina Ann Bowman. Malik struggled to get pass that difficult time in his life, as we all did and some of us still are. He was baptized on August20th2020.Nowthey'retogetheragain.
Malik attended public schools in Montgomery and Prince George's County here in Maryland and, when the family moved toJamesCityCountyinWilliamsburg,VA,Malikgraduatedfrom LafayetteHighSchool'sClassof2012.
After graduation he worked at Avid Medical, a medical supply companywherehelearnedtooperateaforklift.Whenthefamily moved back to the DMV in 2013, Malik enrolled in the Career TechnicalInstitutewherehehonedinonhiscomputerskillsand wasafulltime Help Desk Professional studentthere.Malikalso enrolled in Keystone Job Corps in Drums, PA where he received his Plumber's Assistant Certificate in 2016. A final skill Malik learned and enjoyed was being a Server. He worked for a company that provided Servers for various dining events in the DistrictofColumbiathatincludedavarietyofcongressionaland professional persons and other dignitaries that visited the city, atsuchplacesastheWillardHotelandtheKennedyCenter.
Malik leaves to mourn his passing, two brothers, Terry and RamonBowman,grandmotherSaundraN.Bowman,auntKyraD. Harvey, great-uncle Etienne David (Jacqueline) Nickens. greatauntsBeatrice,PamelaandVermonicaNickens,nephewsAayan, Zion and D'Juan and a village of loving cousins; A loving Godmother, CasablancaTerryand otherfriends;Although Malik willbemissed,werejoiceinknowingheisatrest.
