Obituary
Milton Denard Gallman, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024. Born on March18,1954,inWashington,D.C.,toAnnieGallman-Hughes.
Milton's formative years were spent in Washington, D.C., where he attended McKinley Tech High School and was a proud member of the Majestic Knights these years held a special place in his heart, filled with cherished memories and lifelong friendships. Following high school, Milton pursued further education at American University.
His professional career spanned various fields. He began as an I.T. contractor for Wayne Laboratories, where he provided essential computerservicestothePentagon.Later,hetransitionedtoarolein Federal Government Security, utilizing his skills and experience to safeguardnationalinterests.
Beyond his professional life, Milton was passionate about science fiction and fantasy. He avidly enjoyed television shows and movies thattransportedhimtoimaginativeworlds.
His loving mother, Annie Gallman-Hughes, survives Milton; his two daughters, Maegan and Melissa Gallman; his brothers, William Ellerbe and Keith Gallman; his Aunt Rose Glover; and numerous beloved cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and lovedhim.
