CLEVELAND was born on June 7th, 1952 in Calhoun Falls, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Archie and Mattie Lois Allen Ware and was the youngest of 6 children. Cleveland accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He attended Mt. Olive Church of God Holiness in Calhoun Falls, South Carolina. Cleveland attended J.S Wright High School in Abbeville, South Carolina and later joined the United States Army. After his service in the army, Cleveland reconnected with his brothers in Detroit, Michigan where he lived and worked for numerous years.

Cleveland loved sports (especially playing third base), shooting pool and listening to music. Cleveland loved his family and also had a great love for Michigan. Cleveland was definitely a joy to be around by all who had the good fortune to come in contact with him!

Cleveland departed this life, and was welcomed into eternal rest, on December 28th, 2022 in Canton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Tommie C. Ware, sister Floree Cowan, son Christopher Ware, brothers-in-law Raymond Carter and Irving Cowan and a great-great nephew Jaiceyon Allen.

Loved ones left to cherish his memories are sister Sadie Carter of Greenville, South Carolina, brothers Ellis (Janis) Allen of Port Arthur, Texas and Leroy (Delores) Allen of Detroit, Michigan, sons Allister Morson and Marlon (Kimberly) McClenney of Detroit, Michigan, grandchildren Avery Morson, Joseyanna Morson, Mikayla Morson, Mackenzie Morson, Gracelyn Morson, India McClenney and Deljuan McClenney; special friend Samantha Whiteside of Greenville, South Carolina, special friend Willie Mae Kennedy of Calhoun Falls and her family, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
