This 50-minute seminar introduces practical ways AI can supercharge your marketing without losing the personal touch that sets it apart. We’ll explore how AI can automate repetitive tasks, create content faster, and analyze marketing performance, all while giving attendees tangible tools they can implement right away. From Canva AI to training your own store GPT, this session emphasizes efficiency, creativity, and measurable outcomes. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of what AI can (and can’t) do, plus actionable steps to start integrating it into their store’s marketing strategy.

TRACK FOUR

50 WAYS TO CONNECT: OPTIMIZING YOUR RETAIL TOUCHPOINT

Jennifer Shaheen, Technology Therapy

This presentation briefly covers branding, positioning, and marketing in general, and then dives into and explains the most appropriate (not the most common) strategy for building a solid online presence for your jewelry company. We will explain the tactics involved and the purpose of building your digital marketing plan’s (the showroom) foundation first, then moving up to build the walls and main floor, followed by the VIP suite in the upper level. Doing it any other way will not be as effective, will cost more and result in

SUCCESSION AND TAX ESSENTIALS

This seminar will cover everything needed for the proper operation and transition of a closely held business in the most tax and cost-efficient manner. Included with this seminar will be proper choice of entity, saving money on taxes, asset protection and techniques for transferring your business to family, employee(s) and/or third parties.

In this workshop, we’ll explore how to turn every customer interaction, online and in-store, into an opportunity for connection and conversion. Follow a Retail Touchpoint Framework, and learn how to identify, map, and measure key moments across the five stages of the customer journey: Awareness, Consideration, Purchase, Experience, and Loyalty.

TRACK FIVE INTERNAL PROMOTIONS: HOW DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE IS READY FOR THE NEXT POSITION?

Optimum Retail Solutions

Promoting from within can boost morale, retain top talent, and strengthen your organizational culture — but how can you confidently assess when someone is truly ready for the next step? This session explores key indicators of promotion readiness, including performance, leadership potential, adaptability, and alignment with company values. We'll also examine common pitfalls, such as promoting based solely on tenure or technical skill, and provide practical tools for managers to make informed and fair promotion decisions. Leaders at every level will be equipped to recognize and support high-potential employees on their growth path.

11:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.

TRACK ONE LEADING THROUGH CHANGE: WHAT SUCCESSFUL STORE OWNERS ARE DOING DIFFERENTLY IN 2026

The retail landscape is evolving — are you leading the change or reacting to it? Independent jewelers have faced dramatic shifts in recent years, from evolving consumer expectations and digital-first buying habits to margin pressures and staffing challenges. The stores thriving in 2026 aren’t resisting change — they’re leading through it.

In this forward-looking session, you’ll uncover what sets high-performing independents apart through real-world insights and aggregated performance data from Edge Retail Academy’s nationwide coaching network. See how the most successful retailers are embracing innovation, refining operations and reimagining what leadership looks like in a changing economy.

You’ll learn:

• The new playbook for independent jewelers navigating today’s market.

• How top owners balance innovation with operational discipline.

• Ways to turn staffing, succession, and consumer shifts into growth opportunities.

• Strategies for leading your team with confidence through uncertainty and change fatigue.

• Real examples of jewelers who successfully evolved their business models.

Walk away with a clear blueprint for leading with confidence — understanding the habits, strategies and mindset that help top-performing retailers stay agile, relevant and ahead of the curve.

TRACK TWO AI ISN’T COMING ... IT'S ALREADY HERE!

Ready to stop guessing and start rocking your marketing, sales, and everyday operations? Join us for a high-energy, nogeek-speak seminar that shows you real tools, real results and real easy ways to use AI in your jewelry store — starting the minute you get back. Big ideas. Ready-to-use prompts. Zero overwhelm. This isn’t sci-fi. It’s smart retail — made simple.

William Jones, founder of JewelLink and creator of the Jewelry Sales Academy, shares proven strategies for building and sustaining sales teams that consistently produce multi-million-dollar results. Drawing on years of leadership experience in high-volume jewelry stores, William reveals how to identify and attract exceptional talent, train them to sell through experience and emotion, and create a culture that keeps top performers engaged and growing.
