Art House Productions (Executive Artistic Director Meredith Burns) is proud to announce its fall mainstage production of Hamlet, directed by C. Rashee Stevenson, running October 9–26, 2025, at the Art House Theater in Jersey City.
This bold reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy fuses the original text with interpolated language from Les Nègres and Les Paravents by Jean Genet and works by Federico García Lorca—transforming the play into a cosmic crime thriller that plunges deep into grief, identity, and the metaphysical.
“This production of Hamlet is deeply personal to me,” says C. Rashee Stevenson. “I wanted to explore the emotional and
psychological weight of grief, power, and identity through a lens that feels immediate, cosmic, and urgent. We’re pushing the boundaries of what this classic can be, and I’m incredibly grateful to Art House for giving us the space to reimagine it for today’s world.”

A fundraising project to help rehabilitate the synagogue on Park Avenue, which was originally constructed in 1915, evolved into a multi-decade art project entwining artisanship, Hoboken history, community and their combined legacy.
The documentary “Kaleidoscope Eyes –A Legacy in Stained Glass” captures the essence of a vibrant Hoboken community and how one person has inspired a creation of vivid beauty that will last for generations to come.

The St. Ann’s Feast began in July 1910, born from the strong desire of Italian immigrants from San Giacomo, a province of Salerno, Italy, to preserve their religious and traditional values in their new home. These “San Giacomese Hobokenites” established the St. Ann’s Society. After the successful construction of St. Ann’s Church, the society decided to host a grand “festa” (feast in Italian) to honor St. Ann and their cultural traditions.
