Next door to the ice hockey arena is the popular outdoor recreational area around Vitberget. This area attracts visitors of all ages, from sun-seeking picnickers and families on outings to those who take their exercise seriously. In winter, Vitberget offers downhill skiing and cross-country skiing trails, as well as a fun park with jumps and rails. During the summer, the area has many well-maintained jogging trails, including a continuous 20-km illuminated trail, an outdoor gym and Scandinavia’s largest bike park, the Skellefteå Bike Arena. This is also where you will find the Vitberget outdoor swimming baths, with its popular wave machine.

Schools and transport

In the middle of the residential estate, there is both a preschool and the recently completed Flora Primary and Secondary School. Skellefteå city centre is easily accessible by car or bus. If you prefer to get some exercise, there are excellent pedestrian and cycle routes.
