PERDICES FAMILY Tree: Gov. Perdices, 76, widower, was born on Oct. l6, 1934. He is the second child of the late political legend Gov. Mariano “Tsila” and Julia Perdices. His wife Gina Araneta-Perdices died few years ago. His children are : Ma. Regina (Gina) PerdicesMojeca, a teacher at EDSA; Agustin Miguel (Tenchu) who manages Mamia’s Restaurant at their ancestral home along the boulevard; Ma. Rosa Isabel (Rossana) Perdices-Flores; and Ma Katrina Asuncion (Katrina) Perdices-Chamsay. Gov. Perdices has 15 grandchildren. His brothers and sister are : Eduardo (Bolony), Mariano (Tintoy) retired with Aboitiz; Luis (Pichito) retired diplomat; Augusto (Gogot) retired with DBP; Victor retired from Philbanking; and Ma Antonia (Inday) Templo, retired ophthalmologist. His parents were very much politically oriented. His father “Tsila” was mayor of Dumaguete during the Japanese occupation ; his mother Julia was the daughter of the late Dr. Eduardo Miciano, who was also mayor of Dumaguete during the pre-Japanese era. Gov. Perdices finished his mechanical engineering course at the U.S.T. in Manila. His children are joint investors of their Mamia’s Restaurant. It is managed by his son Tenchu and his wife Lizza.
