REGISTRATION & PAYMENT Registrations will be processed in the order they are received. Incomplete or illegible registrations cannot be processed and will be returned, causing a delay in your registration. No space will be reserved for returned registrations. Three ways you can register and/or pay for camps:

Campers at Junior Day Camp, Adventure Camp, Sportsters, Day Camp, Science Camp and CITs are required to wear an official camp T-shirt each day. Shirts are sold at the RA office and cost $10 for youth sizes and $12 for adult sizes.

Registration between June 1-Aug. 17 Full payment is due at time of registration. Forms must be completed 2 weeks prior to the first day of your camp session. If a camp is full, we encourage you to join the waitlist as cancellations do occur. Online registration will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday before the following session. Walk-in registrations will only be accepted at RA headquarters in Member Services, not at camp.

Refunds, Withdrawals and Transfers A $75 Non-refundable deposit (per camp session) or payment in full are required (Nature Camps — $45). You will receive an email confirmation along with the required forms. Payments can be made towards the camp balance at any time prior to June 1. The non-refundable deposit covers the cost of the staff training and requirements such as fingerprinting and background checks. Details can be found in the Parent Handbook online at www.reston.org.

Minimum age requirements must be met by Sept. 30, 2020. Maximum age requirements must be met by the first day of each session.

Camp Shirts

Transportation $52/AM Session, $52/PM Session Van transportation is available within RA boundaries only. Campers may be picked up and dropped off at two different locations. Locations must remain the same throughout the session. Pickup/drop-off locations must be a home, place of employment or day care provider. Transportation is not available after extended care. Camp registrar will call the family 24-48 hours prior to the first day of the session to confirm approximate morning pick-up times.

Extended Care $58/AM Session (7:30-9 a.m.), $58/PM Session (4-6 p.m.) Extended Care is provided at our Brown’s Chapel facility. Extended Care activities are less structured and more independent than regular camp activities. They may include cards, board games, crafts and reading. A snack and drink will be served during PM session. If your child attends Science Camp, Walker’s Rangers, Young Naturalists or Teen Camp, please drop them off at extended care by 8:15 a.m. and pick them up no earlier than 4:15 p.m. These recommended times are subject to change.

Beginner Swim Lessons $70/session (9:30 a.m.), North Hills Pool Add 30-minute beginner group swim lessons to your child’s camp experience. Swim lessons are built into the daily camp schedule and transportation is provided to/from camp. Children will learn fundamentals of floating, gliding, and kicking as well as an introduction to swimming strokes. We hope to get every camper to yellow or green band by the end of summer. Take advantage of the $10 discounted pricing for campers before slots fill. Available at Junior Day Camp and Day Camp.
