Dear Friends,

This month, we’re celebrating 11 incredible years of Rescue One and more than 17,000 animals saved along the way That’s 17,000 lives that got a second chance because people like you believed they deserved one.

But it doesn’t stop there. Through our programs like spay and neuter, our pet food pantry, community outreach, education, and SafePet Program, we’ve helped change thousands more lives We’ve kept families together We’ve broken the cycle of overpopulation and neglect. We’ve shown up in courtrooms to fight for justice. We’ve brought hope to places that had none.

Whether you’ve adopted, fostered, volunteered, donated, or cheered us on from the sidelines, we thank you Truly You’re the heart of this mission, and we couldn’t do any of it without you.

Here’s to 11 years of rescue, love, and community. And here’s to many more!

With so much gratitude,

ON THE COVER

Meet Royce a 65 lb Bulldog/Pit mix with the name of a RollsRoyce but the heart of a good ol’ country boy He loves the outdoors, chasing bubbles, and playing with balls and chew toys He’s house and crate trained, doing well on a leash (though still learning), and great in the car. He prefers being the only dog for now and definitely no cats or bunnies his prey drive is strong! He’d thrive with an active person or family, older kids, and a fenced yard to explore.

BOONE: ONE LEG DOWN, WHOLE LIFE AHEAD

Boone came to us after being hit by a car. A staff member who saw him get hit rushed him to our clinic, where we learned the extent of his injuries: his leg was badly damaged, and saving it wasn’t going to be an option. We were able to track down his owner, but when they learned about his injuries, they said they did not want him back.

So, we did what we do best. We gave Boone a second chance.

He underwent surgery to remove the injured leg, and although recovery wasn’t easy, Boone showed us from day one that he wasn’t going to let it slow him down.

After a few weeks of healing, a family came along to adopt him. They welcomed him into their home, where he now lives the life every dog deserves: warm beds, belly rubs, and all the love he could ever ask for. Boone may have lost a leg, but he gained a forever home and that’s a trade we’ll take any day

Meet Howard

I’m a 6-year-old, 70-ish-pound German Shepherd mix with energy to spare and a heart full of adventure. I’m house and crate trained, love fetch, car rides, and splashing in water! I do best with other playful dogs my size (after slow intros) but no cats, please. I need a privacy-fenced yard and an active human who’s up for walks, fetch, and fun outings If that’s you, I’m ready!

Meet Charlene Darling

I’m a 4 year old, tiny 6-pound cuddle bug I was part of a TNR program, but I’m way too affectionate for the outdoor life. I can be shy at first, but once I warm up, I’ll give you gentle love nibbles to keep the cuddles going. I like other cats, don’t mind calm dogs, and would do best in a quiet home with older kids.I’m spayed, vaccinated, litter box trained, and ready for my forever lap. Let’s snuggle!

Meet Plankton

I’m a 7-year-old cattle dog who lives life like a caffeinated cartoon. Fetch isn’t a hobby it’s a lifestyle. Throw the ball and you just might earn my trust. I’m great with dogs who can keep up, love road trips, and thrive with a calm, kid-free home. Give me space, patience, and a steady supply of tennis balls, and I’ll give you nonstop laughs and loyalty. I am currently being fostered at Howliday Inn and would love to meet you!

“We thought we were rescuing a dog… turns out, he rescued our couch, our snacks, and control of the remote. Thanks to Rescue One, we gained a four-legged shadow with major main character energy—and we wouldn’t trade him for the world.”

GUILY.

Charlie came to us last May on the brink of death, her brother Milo already gone Their owner had done nothing to help them. But we did. We fought for Charlie when she couldn’t fight for herself. We’re on the search for a veterinarian to join our amazing team at the clinic starting in January! We offer a competitive salary ($125,000+ per year), paid time off, a flexible schedule, paid health insurance, no holidays or weekends, and the opportunity to work alongside a supportive, experienced staff. As a qualifying nonprofit organization, we also participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program Email stephanie.rescueone@gmail.com today if you are interested in joining our life saving team!

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve received a $20,000 grant from the ASPCA to help promote adoptions!
