As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we reflect on the incredible journey we've shared with you Since becoming a licensed rescue in July 2014, we have rescued over 15,000 animals and positively impacted the lives of thousands more through our education and outreach programs This milestone is a testament to the dedication and generosity of supporters like you. Together, we have created a more humane community, offering hope and care to countless animals in need
Over the past decade, your contributions have allowed us to provide life-saving medical care, rehabilitation, and loving homes to animals who otherwise had little chance of survival. Our educational initiatives have empowered pet owners with the knowledge and resources to care for their companions responsibly, reducing the number of animals in need and enhancing the overall well-being of our community. We recognize that our work is far from complete. Our community is facing a critical shortage of resources to meet the overwhelming needs of animals in distress. Each day, we are dedicated to finding innovative solutions to support and care for the vulnerable animals in our community.

Hi, I’m Lucy, an 8-year-old Terrier mix with the heart of a puppy! Despite being a senior, I’m as spunky as ever. I love splashing in the water and hanging out with my favorite humans I’m great with kids but need to be your one and only pet no exceptions I’m housebroken and would absolutely love a privacy-fenced yard where I can bask in the sun and roll in the grass.
I'm Daniel, a 50 pound one year old handsome hunk of a Hound mix Some say that I am the best boy ever, already house, crate and leash trained I am also an expert squirrel hunter! I am also great with the wee ones and other doggie pals. I will need a home with a fenced yard and a family who is active and ready to include me in all their daily adventures. I can’t wait to meet you!
I’m Cookie, a 4-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a sweet and affectionate personality. As a special needs cat, I require daily insulin for my diabetes, but don’t worry I hardly notice my injections! My condition doesn’t stop me from being the most awesome, affectionate shadow you’ve ever met! I don’t mind laid back cats and would be fine as an only pet.
I'm Pearson, a 2 year old handsome cat. I'm all about the chill life, soaking up the sunbeams and lounging in style. But don't let my relaxed vibe fool you – when it comes to affection, I'm all in. Give me some chin scratches or a gentle neck rub, and I'll be your best friend for life. I am litter boxed trained and don’t mind laid back feline friends. I haven’t met dogs since being rescued but I’m open to it!

Justice for Charlie DONATIONS AT WORK
Charlie and her brother were victims of severe neglect, left without care for weeks. Tragically, her brother was already deceased in the home when Charlie was rescued She was too weak to move and her prognosis was guarded. She required round the clock small feedings and monitoring.
Her road to recovery was long, but she was a fighter. With each passing day, her strength grew, and her vibrant personality began to shine through. Today, Charlie thrives in her new home, surrounded by love and comfort, a far cry from her past life. Her story is a powerful reminder of the impact of rescue work and the potential for new beginnings, no matter how dark the past.
Charges were filed against the owner and Rescue One team members were at the first court date last week We are very hopeful that there will be justice for Charlie and her brother.
Street Cat Finds Love DONATIONS AT WORK
Streeta Rita was once a street cat struggling to survive. Her life on the streets had taken a heavy toll, and when she was found, she was in a dire state. Severe dehydration and renal failure had left her in critical condition, with a body score of just 2 barely clinging to life. Her suffering was evident, and the odds of her survival seemed grim. However, our clinic, driven by hope and determination, initiated immediate supportive care, rallying all available resources to give her a fighting chance.
Her will to live proved stronger than anyone could have anticipated Day by day, she continued to improve After being hospitalized for 27 days, she was discharged into foster care and ready to start her new life
She carries only the reminder of her past a missing eye but her journey from the streets to a loving home is nothing short of a miracle Today, she is adored by her new family and is living her best life!
CLASSIC SUCCESS
Our 6th Annual Canine Classic was a tremendous success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of our community and the generous support of our sponsors. Together, we raised over $40,000 for pets in need, ensuring that more animals in our community receive the care and assistance they deserve. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event possible! We can’t wait until next year!
