Reno Rockabilly Riot
Musicians Ruth Lenz, John Lenz and James Winn of the Reno Chamber Orchestra will perform the Horn Trio by Johannes Brahms and the Trio in A major by Franz Josef Haydn. The concert begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, in the Wayne and Miriam Prim Theater at the Nevada Museum of Art, 160 W. Liberty St. Champagne and desserts by chez louis will be served after the performance at 8 p.m. The ticket includes admission to the Nevada Museum of Art galleries, which will open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $100. Calidanza The professional dance company fuses contemporary technique with traditional Mexican folk dance to tell stories of the rich cultural traditions of Mexico. Calidanza will present a short afternoon matinee program and a longer evening program of dance. The matinee begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, and the evening show at 7:30 p.m., at the Valhalla Boathouse Theatre at the Tallac Historical Site, 1 Valhalla Road, South Lake Tahoe. Tickets for the matinee performance are $12 general admission and $10 for children age 12 and younger.
