OUR ETHOS
Our core ethos revolves around prioritising individuals. By cultivating a collective of healthcare architects and designers who share our vision, the pursuit of architecturally meaningful contributions to society has become second.

HEALTHCARE AS A PUBLIC SERVICE
In the Middle Ages, hospitals were established as social institutions and remained so for centuries. They were public facilities inasmuch as they addressed a public issue: care of the poor who fell ill, providing food, shelter and succor, though hardly any treatment in the modern sense. Unless charity institutions intervened, the poor would live out their lives in misery, especially if illness prevented them from earning a living.
In striking contrast with the poverty of their inhabitants, hospital buildings soon developed into wealthy, representative landmarks. Often, their sponsors endowed them with paintings, sculptures and lavishly decorated rooms for the people who managed them. Some hospitals even became patrons of the arts.
HEALTHCARE
ENVIRONMENTS AND THE THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENT
Recovery, wellbeing and therapy are the three Reddy pillars of Healthcare design. At Reddy, we believe that good healthcare design promotes healing. Connectivity with the healing powers of our landscape is an intrinsic part of the regenerative powers of our designs. Place making in healthcare environments starts with our approach to clinical masterplanning, through our patient pathways and beyond to recovery.
Our approach is patient centred.
Healthy places sustain healthy people.
“Our designs focus on patient dignity. We connect our buildings to their communities through considered placemaking that supports the recovery process. Our priorities are to support our communities through our future design”

BON SECOURS HOSPITAL LIMERICK
Scale: 19,405m2
Services: Design, Execution
A state-of-the-art medical facility for the people of Limerick and the greater midwest region.
The new Bon Secours Hospital at Ballysimon seeks to greatly expand the quality of health services on offer to people living and working in the mid-west region. The facility will testify to a continued commitment to provide technologically advanced healthcare ınnovation and excellence. The campus will expect to treat more than 50,000 patients annually.
This new facility will transform day-care
surgical and oncology treatments available in Limerick and widen patient-centred services to a growing local population.
This hospital is being built on a sustainable site with access to public transport, provision for EV parking and facilities for cyclists. To save energy and to be aware of climate change, the buildings will be equipped with heat pump technology for heating and cooling, green roof technology and natural daylight and ventilation will be used where appropriate.
OUR LADY’S HOSPICE CORK
A palliative care unit at Our Lady’s Hospice, providing 36 single-bed family bedrooms with support facilities. The project comprises new-built extensions connected to existing refurbished buildings, constructed on a phased basis.

KYRIE FARM KILDARE
Scale: Phase 1: 1,200 m2 | Phase 2: 1,062 m2
Services: Design, Execution
The award winning scheme creates a new benchmark in Irish later life care facilities and has been recognised as such by the plaudits received from both Client and Awards received.
With an emphasis on the therapeutic value of a homelike environment, the design seeks to create the ambience of home rather than an institution, with natural colours, good daylight and extensive views to the outside. Natural light is an essential element in senior living environments. Roof lights and secondary glazing between the day rooms maximise views and daylight to ensure the sitting spaces are welcoming.
FOUR FERNS NURSING HOME
FOXROCK, DUBLIN
The Four Ferns Nursing Home is an innovative care home whose concept combines cutting-edge interior design with elegant architecture in a sylvan setting.
The three storey building is laid out in a series of radiating wings with central living and dining spaces overlooking gardens and woodland spaces. The building picks up the grain of the Foxrock Conservation Area. Blending seamlessly into its sylvan setting, the building utilises earthen tones in its materiality, with buff bricks, pigmented renders, and fiber cement wall claddings that echo the local slate roofs.

RATHMINES PRIMARY CARE CENTRE
DUBLIN
Scale: 5,200m2
Services: Design, Execution
The proposed Rathmines Primary Care Centre will provide person-centred health & social care services to the community, outside of an acute hospital setting. At over 5200sqm the centre will serve the Community Healthcare Network (CHN) of Rathmines, Terenure & Templeogue providing a range of services including GP consulting; community mental health facilities; physiotherapy and paediatric services; an older person’s day care centre and office, staff and patient facilities. The proposal forms part of Dublin City Councils Gulistan Depot Masterplan which will transform the current underutilised
brownfield site into a new green and pedestrianised campus. The building massing, height and scale has been carefully crafted and considers both its tight infill city centre site and its surrounding low scale residential properties while still providing a south-facing therapeutic garden at the heart of the building. Biophilic design principles and having direct and visual access to quality outdoor space has proven benefits to patients and staff health and wellbeing and is identified as a key driver in the HSE Capital & Estates Strategy 2022-2050.
