HR News Virtual Mini Staff Retreat Recap On November 11th, 141 staff members from Newark and New Brunswick joined our first ever RBS Virtual Mini Staff Retreat. Prior to Dean Lei’s welcoming remarks, some staff members joined an early-bird ice-breaker session organized by Matt Peyrek. The retreat kicked off with an uplifting slideshow created by Jennifer Diaz, featuring images of our staff from last year’s staff retreat, as well as the few events we were able to celebrate on campus this year. Senior Associate Dean Melissa Rivera kicked off the retreat, followed by Dean Lei’s comments acknowledging the important role staff members play in the continued success and global recognition of Rutgers Business School. Dean Lei also candidly responded to staff members’ questions, which were shared by Lucy Foster of Undergraduate Programs-Newark. Marc Limata of MBA Student Services, spoke to the group about the Dean’s Staff Advisory Committee and how you can utilize this influential resource to voice your thoughts and concerns to Dean Lei. Kendra Clarke of Marketing and Communications, aslo shared what the Professional Development Committee is planning for the spring semester. (Turn page for more).
