The Four R’s that help define RBS and its mission to impart business knowledge, ethical judgment, and global perspectives in our students have never been more true or more important. Every single member of the RBS Family has been forced to adapt to unexpected and unprecedented challenges, take personal responsibility for the health and safety of their families and communities like never before, and be creative and resourceful while adjusting to telecommuting, remote instruction and virtual meetings. We staff have all acquired new skills and can now Zoom, collaborate across Teams, and work from home as effortlessly as the young students we support here at RBS. Who would have thought?

Phrases like “mask mandates” and “social distancing” were unheard of a year ago, yet they are now a critical part of our health and safety protocols, at home and at RBS. None of us could have ever imagined that a year ago, which reinforces just how critical it is that we constantly explore professional development opportunities, fine tune our skillsets and remain open and prepared to meet the everchanging needs of our faculty and students, in what will likely become known as the Post-COVID Era. None of us knows what the future holds, but together, we will profess our Scarlet Pride and stay RBS-Strong.

While this has certainly been a challenging year, with the COVID-19 global pandemic impacting every aspect of our lives, there are still great accomplishments, memorable moments, and good times with colleagues to celebrate as we look ahead to 2021, a safe, effective vaccine, and a return to our more normal daily lives. Please take a few moments to pause and reflect on some of the RBS highlights from the past year. Enjoy!
