Coffee & Conversations Continue

On Friday morning, December 4th, RBS coworkers from both campuses met virtually for the second Coffee & Conversation social hour. Participants were able to join breakout rooms to discuss various topics of interests: Pets, TV shows, Travel, Food, Goals for 2021, and more. This popular event drew a large crowd that enjoyed the opportunity to connect with colleagues. Based upon the positive feedback, and the extension of telecommuting through next March, RBS Coffee & Conversation will become a monthly event. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Ad Hoc Committee

On November 16th, a diversity, equity and inlusion survey was shared with RBS Staff and Faculty. The purpose of this survey is to assess the current climate and resources among the faculty, staff, and students at RBS, with a goal to continuously improve our academic environment and to ensure RBS members feel a strong sense of belonging. An essential step in creating a truly diverse, equitable, supportive, and inclusive community is learning about your perspectives and experiences at RBS.

The committee anticipates analyzing the data and to have recommendations to the RBS Leadership Team by the end of January.

The RBS Ad Hoc Committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion includes the following staff members: Ingrid Belle (Center for Supply Chain Management), Donna Brancato (Undergraduate - NB), Charles Brown (Office of Diversity Programs) , Shyeka Hopkins (NJ-SBDC), and Josephine Sears (Executive MBA).

Gifts of Generosity

The Dean’s Staff Advisory Committee would like to thank everyone for their contributions to the Sweet Dreams New Pajama and Book Drive. This program benefits orphaned and foster children throughout the state of New Jersey. This year marks the second year that RBS has contributed to the Sweet Dreams New Pajama and Book Drive.
