The Center for Women in Business (CWIB) is a community that combines the strength of academic research and the resources of a committed alumni network to make an impact on gender equity in the business world. Through education, opportunities, and thought leadership, their mission is to remove barriers, build community, and empower women with the confidence and skills necessary to succeed as business leaders. CWIB’s research mission is to also to develop actionable insight into the problem of underrepresentation of women in business. Founding Director, Lisa Kaplowitz is a Finance & Economics Assistant Professor. Research Director, Kristina Durante, is an Associate Professor in our Marketing department.
