Project: Laends - Where Land Ends th th SVE : Mobility 26 March – 26 September 2018 2 female volunteers, one from Spain and one from France Two volunteers will be involved in the rich program of artistic and cultural activities promoted by Ramdom¨ animating the heel of Italy, department of Lecce, and the Arts centre Lastation. They will be protagonists of the “Laends - Where Land Ends ¨ a site specific project that will include the exploration and mapping of physical and human environment¨ the creation of innovative and intersectoral touristic tour. Main activities will be: - Exploration an mapping of the territory; - Creation of cultural tour in the Capo di Leuca; - Communication and promotion. Volunteers will also work on the European and international cultural programming¨ as well as they have the chance to handle events on a local scale (secretary creative direction promotion and realization). The volunteers will collaborate with Ramdom’ staff and their local partners in order to acquire specific professional skills that can make them more competitive in the workplace. The quality of the activity¨ in accordance with the principles of EVS¨ will be ensured through the strong partnership between the institutions of coordination as well a host and sending organizations. The coordination and departure organizations already have a lot of experience in working with the EVS¨ and the supervisor in the host organization is also a person with experience of working in EVS and on issues related to youth mobility. The content of the activity is created with the intention of making an interesting activity¨ high quality¨ it can be a good experience and acquire new skills to every volunteer. The voluntary commitment will be full-time¨ and he will pursue different tasks: will¨ as far as possible¨ given way to the expression of their ideas and their creativity¨ because the volunteers will be encouraged to implement¨ during the activity¨ some autonomous group projects. However the volunteers will also have to confront the group work to compete in the confrontation with people from different cultures and nationalities.

We believe that while volunteering through EVS group in Gagliano young Europeans will be able to: - Learn to work in teams¨ becoming solid and reliable elements of a working group¨ helping to achieve great things; - Improve the knowledge of the arts and culture¨ the “behind the scenes” of the management and organization of cultural and artistic events; - Acquire skills on the creation and management of multimedia publishing projects; - To formulate¨ propose and compare their projects¨ ideas¨ innovations; - Improve organizational and communication skills. - Discover the differences between the various cultures of Europe and the Mediterranean countries. - Acquire a new perception of their national identity in relation to the European dimension.
