A TRIP TO AFRICA By Elise

By: Elise Riker?s newest project needs our help in their fundraising. ?Colossal Youth,? is a coming of age romantic comedy film following around friends in high school. The director Scott Leisk needs money to fund the movie?s distribution and editing process, so he created an IndieGoGo page. IndieGoGo is a website and organization that helps independent films with production, filming, and anything that has to do with funding the movie. You can donate money towards the film and/ or get some amazing perks. Some of the perks include buying a copy of the DVD before it?s released to the public, getting a poster signed by members of the cast and being mentioned as an executive producer on IMDB. These perks are limited so if you want any of these and more please visit their IndieGoGo page.

Our Halloween Costumes Ashley's Costume For this costume, you can be very versatile with what you wear. You have many different options, but here is what I liked to wear for this. First, I like to put my hair in a high ponytail, side ponytail, or half up and half down. I like to use a scrunchie but you can use a regular ponytail holder if you would like. I also just wear my normal prescription glasses but you can also wear 3D glasses with the lenses popped out of them. Next, I got a white button up shirt from JCPenny?s and roll the sleeves up so they are three quarters of the way down. Then I got some black suspenders from Claire?s and one of my dad?s ties. I also wore black high waisted shorts from H&M. For this, high waisted works best, but whatever you have will work fine. Then, I put on knee high socks from Academy. You can wear any color you want based on your tie and shoes. I always wear converse with this costume, and it doesn?t matter what color! You are able to be very versatile with this outfit!

Our Halloween Costumes Elise's Costume My costume is a football player or if you want to be technical John Elway, probably one of the best Denver Broncos quarterbacks ever. Being that R5 loves the Broncos I had to make this a costume. All I did was just borrow my dad's Elway jersey, wore some black mesh leggings from Hollister and some Converse. It's a simple and easy costume that I already had in my closet.

Our Halloween Costumes Jennifer's Costume Hey everyone! My name is Jennifer and I am a proud working columnist on the R5 Family Magazine! Here is my Halloween costume! Minnie Mouse! Now my costume might change as Halloween comes closer, but right now Minnie Mouse is what I have in mind. (btw I love Disney) So in the first photo there are two Minnie ear sets. The one with the pink bow lights up, and the one with the red bow is regular. I'm still deciding on which one I should wear. The shirt has Minnie Mouse wearing glasses on it (that's perfect for me, since I wear glasses too! Then I just have some plain black leggings with black shiny studs on the bottom to make things easier and to keep my legs warmer than a skirt. And then lastly, you see my mint green Convserse! You can totally tell that I am a part of the R5 Family when I just have to have my Converse with any look! And so yeah, that's basically it! Hope you like my costume!
