TBT: 2 Years Si nce DWTS By Ash ley It?s been two years since Riker appeared on Dancing With The Stars with his partner, Allison Holker. I remember when I found out that he was going to be on the show, and I was so excited because I?ve watched the show since season 7 and knew he was going to do so well in the competition? and he did!
One of my favorite parts of the show was watching the rehearsal footage of Team Rallison. I loved watching them work together to create amazing dances. Allison?s contemporary style of dancing melds into the dances on the show and her choreography is perfect. All of their dances have been really great and I would love to see them do another dance.
One of my favorite dances that they did was their trio jazz dance with Brittany Cherry to the song ?A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)? by Fergie. The energy in this dance was outstanding and so fun to watch. This dance they got a 39 out of 40 and I really thought they should?ve gotten a perfect 40! If only Len scored easy on them.
Another highlight of the season for Riker was definitely Disney night when he got to be Captain Jack Sparrow in a Paso Doble. When you watched Riker dance to this song, you could tell how much he was into the dance and doing the moves. It was a perfect choice for him and in week 5 of the competition, he came out with a 38 out of 40.
And you can?t talk about Riker on Dancing With The Stars without mentioning his freestyle from the finals! As a member of the R5 Family, I was really hoping it would be to an R5 song, but I was not disappointed by their song choice. The song, I Won?t Dance (Step Up 3D Remix) was really energetic and a great choice for the dance that they were trying to create. I like the changes in the music that gave them good transitions in their dance. Overall, Riker was amazing on Dancing With The Stars (even though he was runner-up to Rumor and Val). Maybe if they have another season with past stars, we will see Riker and Allison again. Or even have another member of R5 on the show! I know I?d love to see Rydel or Ellington on the show. R5's St. Patrick's Day By Jen n if er R5 always seems to go all out to celebrate St. Patrick?s Day, and for them, this year was no different. Rydel went to Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Musical.ly; you name it to share her holiday celebrations. On the 17th, she posted plenty of funny photos onto her Snapchat story, and on her Instagram, she posted a photo, from the St. Patty?s Day show the band did last year, wishing she was on the road again. She also did a livestream on Live.ly, and posted a video on her YouTube channel, showing us how to make a Shamrock Shake for the luckiest day of the year! Ross also went to social media to share what he was doing. He posted a picture with Rocky as they were getting ready in the mirror on Instagram, saying ?Dew time. Heading to Peppermint to see Ry DJ.? He also shared a simple ?St. Paddy?s Day? with a couple of clovers on Twitter, which earned 1.2k retweets. Ryland did in fact perform at the Peppermint Club in LA for a special St. Patrick?s Day show, along with Goody Grace. Riker went along to the show at the club as well.
Rocky then revealed something pretty exciting on Twitter, he stated ?St. Patrick?s Day and we have a deadline of songs to turn in? which means that the R5 Family won?t have to wait long to hear some new songs from our favorite band! St. Patrick?s Day seemed to be filled with fun, from the band?s social media, and I can imagine that they had even more fun outside of what they posted! I bet they can?t wait until next year!

My Friend Dahmer Update By Elise My Friend Dahmer will be shown to audiences at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 21st. through the 23rd then again on the 27th. Tickets to go see the film that stars Ross as the famous serial killer are available online at h t t ps:/ / t r ibecaf ilm .com / f ilm gu ide/ m y-f r ien d-dah m er -2017. We do not know if Ross or anyone from the film will be there to speak about the film after it has been shown, but we do know that Ross will be amazing in the comedy-horror flick.
Rydel 's YouTube Column By Ash ley Over the past month, Rydel has posted a lot more than once a week and the R5 Family is forever grateful! With 45,000 subscribers, Rydel has been really expanding her channel and we are excited to see what is to come! In her ?Pink Strawberry Cake Cookies? video, she showed us how to make her delicious homemade cookies using strawberry cake mix! This is a unique twist on how to use traditional cake mix to create some great cookies. First you preheat your oven to 350° and mix a box of strawberry cake mix, two eggs, and Ÿ cup vegetable oil in a bowl. Then put your cookies onto a pan and back for 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, top your cookies with powdered sugar! Next, we got to enjoy a Q&A from our favorite group of girls! Rydel was joined by Alexa Dowd, Courtney Eaton, and Savannah Latimer to answer the R5 Family?s questions. The video was hilarious and very entertaining to get a sneak peek into Rydel?s girls nights with her friends.
We also got to see Rydel show us what is on her iPhone 7 plus. As she went through her phone apps, she had a few surprise guests! First Ellington came into the video and sat with her for a minute, and then Rocky sat with her and Ross was off screen. It was a nice surprise for the R5 Family to see some family interaction between Rydel, Rocky, and Ross.
Next, she posted a makeup haul in which she showed us some makeup she got from Sephora. She filmed it right after the iHeart Music Awards so she was all dolled up for her video.
She also showed us, in her next video, how to make a Shamrock Shake just in time for St. Patrick?s Day. This video was a live stream and she filmed it on a camera at the same time so she could post it onto YouTube later! Her video was like her past shake videos but the only difference was that she added green food coloring and peppermint extract.
After that, she posted ?3 Easy Bun Tutorials? that I found were super easy to do yourself (as the title says!). They all are very similar when you do them, but you can do slightly different things to make them turn out different.
The last video she has posted was a ?Get Ready With Me Spring Edition?. In this video, she showed us how she did her makeup, hair, and what she wore that day. She demonstrated how to use her straightening brush that straightens your hair without feeling like it will damage your hair. The video was very entertaining and near the end we even got some commentary from Ellington in the background!
We love watching Rydel?s YouTube videos! We can?t wait to see what Rydel posts next. Make sure to subscribe to Rydel?s YouTube channel and maybe by our next issue, she?ll be at 50,000!
