CRAFTING PATHWAYS
WHERE THERE'S A PATH, THERE'S A PLAN
Golf courses are not just playgrounds for the game; they are carefully designed landscapes that require meticulous planning and maintenance. Creating new paths on a golf course is a significant undertaking that involves various considerations to ensure functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
Our course crew's priority is sustainability and accessibility to ensure the paths serve all golfers and preserve our natural coastal landscape for future generations.
ONGOING PATH MAINTENANCE
Special thanks to the great guys at the Queenscliff railway shed for re-welding our bobcat bucket from its poor state of rust holes.

With the return of the bobcat, the path works are back underway.
The process of turning the old bark paths to our new gravel will take some time and may cause some disruption and mess around the tee areas
Thank you to anyone who is understanding and sorry for any inconvenience.
Course Superintendent, Jake

HISTORICALLY SPEAKING...
This indentation in the fairway on the 11th Hole is not a purpose built hazard designed to give you grief
It's "Foxhole”, used by soldiers from the turn of the 18th century until 1915 as a 600-yard (~550m) mark to shoot at targets on the rifle range located beyond the 11th fairway.
There were longer foxholes on the 9th green area and also around 6th green, probably the 1000-yard mark, however they no longer exist
