The hospitality cart rolls out every Saturday with your favourite beverages and snacks, while the Clubhouse Kitchen serves up hot food, fresh salads, and sandwiches every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday Grab an espresso, wine, beer, or soft drink, and settle in to relax.

The fifth week of pennant was held the weekend before Easter, with Queenscliff hosting both Division 3 and Handicap East on the same day The day went off without a hitch with players from both divisions complimenting both the course, particularly the greens, and the hospitality The day began with only a gentle breeze but a stiff northwesterly got up during the day to test the mettle of all those playing. A big thank you to everyone who helped out on the day, with a special mention to Bob Merriman who spotted on the 2nd fairway for five hours.
The Division 3 team remains on track to make the finals only needing to win one of its next two matches. This coming week we play second-placed 13th Beach at Lorne, which should be a good sounding board.
The Handicap East team still has a remote chance of making the finals, but would need to win its next two contests and then rely on other teams losing.

The 25 April is a day to honour the service and sacrifice of all who have served, fallen, or been wounded in conflicts and peacekeeping missions.
It’s also a time to reflect on stories like that of QGC members Jock Burnett and Grant Boseley, who enlisted together in 1969 with a shared commitment to protect our great Aussie way of life. Decades later, they reunited—still connected by that same spirit —on Golf’s Island Home.
