AttheHongKongDragonBoatFestival,weassisted withsettinguptheeventandthemanyinnerworkings. Wehelpedracerscheckinandwhentheyweredone weassistedthemingettingoutoftheboat.Therewas abreakroomfilledwithsnacks,energydrinks,and manybeverages.Myfavoritepartoftheeventwas howmanyKeyClubsthatwerepresentandhowwe wereallowedtosocializewhilevolunteering.

During the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival, I was tasked to help out with public relations and check in with individuals who were filming and documenting the event. There were so many different teams competing and racing, and it was great to see them row across the lake at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Although it began to rain heavily later in the event, the organizers were wellprepared and had everyone inside and secure. The organizers also distributed pizza and a variety of beverages and drinks.

The bowling fundraiser was such a fun experience to end off my time in key club. It was one last chance to hang out with friends and just have a good time with them before going off to college and I'm so glad I went.

QHSLS x QHSS Bowling Fundraiser QHSLS x QHSS Bowling Fundraiser
My time at the bowling fundraiser in collaboration with QHSS Key Club would be considered as the tippy top of a roller coaster where all the excitement happens before zooming down to what we call school It was a fun time to bond with not only members of our home club but also those of QHSS. Whether it was the rigged strikes that some of us to the gutter balls that almost my whole one hit, it was run! And because we collaborated together for the same fundraiser last service year and as cheesy as it sounds, the nostalgia hits. Hopefully we can run the same fundraiser back next service year!

Bowling fundraiser brought everyone together, as everyone had some fun before school begins. Getting people to touch some grass as many have not. It was an absolute blast as many people were either hitting gutter or a strike.

During the QHSLS x QHSS Bowling Fundraiser, we helped to raise funds for Key Club whie also having fun with our friends We were able to be grouped up with our friends and have an hour and a half of unlimited bowling for the low price of $15. My favorite part was that I got to see my friends who are going off to college for a final time

At the QHSLS x QHSS Bowing Fundraiser, I had a fantastic time bowling with my friends and other Key Club members during the summer. Even though I made a lot of gutter bals, I did get a few strikes! It was a lot of fun getting together and spending time with the QHSS Key Club!

The bowling fundraiser was really fun, I got to meet my friends from both QHSLS and QHSS that I hadn't seen for a long time. I was either hitting gutter balls or strikes or I was talking with friends. Socializing with other schools is always fun and I'm glad we were able to do it with QHSS. I hope we ' re able to do more events with them in the future!

I am overjoyed since I got to play bowling for the first time. Although I wasn’t sure how to play at first, slowly I got the hang of it. The people around me were very kind and considerate. This fundraiser was a good way for me to be able to socialize with other people who aren’t part of my school. Although I already knew some of those students, It was still really nice to be able to see them again and have conversations with them. Overall, I felt that this fundraiser was a good experience to socialize with others for the cost of only $15.
