Final Battle For The Crown . . . Many players on U14 teams
will be competing for the last time for a King of the Hill title.
• The AYSO soccer season finishes next weekend while the youth basketball season begins today. The long-held King and Queen of the Hill soccer tournament finals are slated for next weekend with semifinal matches taking place today. The Palos Verdes Basketball Association and PVYBL begin their seasons this weekend at all four Peninsula gyms. High school boys’ and girls’ soccer and basketball as well as girls’ water polo have already begun the winter sport season. Watch for a mega-edition of the PANORAMA on Dec. 21 as we cover more good stuff on the Hill.
