• All four Peninsula Little Leagues held Opening Day ceremonies last week to officially open the Peninsula spring season. It appears that most Peninsula Little Leagues and the girls’ softball league have picked up an additional team or two that will add to a busy and competitive spring schedule. Check out the next edition of Panorama for more good stuff happening on the Hill.

Don’t Mess With Pirates . . . The Pirates and Orioles are gearing up for a great competitive season at Palos Verdes Little League.

Big Yellow Ball Flies Far Over Cornerstone School

• The spring softball season is underway with competitive games at Cornerstone School and Highridge Park.

It’s very early in the season and a good number of teams still have a shot at undefeated seasons, while others are just beginning to get the feel of the spring season.

At The Plate . . . The four-team U12 Division will be competitive throughout the season.

The Race Begins . . . The Bulldogs and Kraken battled to a 4-4 tie in 12U Division action at Cornerstone School Solid Contact . . . The 12U Division will have four talented and competitive teams this spring.

• Spring baseball is back and bigger than ever with games and events taking place all over the Peninsula.

The spring parades have just finished up and the spring sports season has just started with some teams yet to play an official game.
