• The Peninsula Little Leagues finished regular season action with championship games and are now well into summer All-Star action.

Rolling Hills, Palos Verdes and Lunada Bay Little Leagues are hosting District 36 All-Star tournaments with top teams from all over the South Bay competing.

Local Rolling Robots Team Wins Award . . . The Rolling Robots Team 7700E Electric Eels won the Inspire Award at the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship. Pictured from the left: Alexis Vu , Jessalyn Pong, Tommy Westerland, Shreya Sanyal and Luke Rummel.
Championship Rings . . . 12U Silver Division Champions. Coach Frank Salceda, Eric Au, Devin Yonamine, Adam Booker, Conner Rushatakankovit, Karvis Lin, Ethan Rushatakankovit, Ryder Gani and coach Franky Salceda.
Trophy Status . . . 14U Silver Division Champions. Brennan Kato, Jason Jones, Mikey Miles, Johnny Abraham, Amin Veera and coach Daryl Kato.

team scored 101 points in a great victory playing up in the 15U Division. Aston Jetton, Mikey Miles, Johnny Abraham, Brad Kuo, Jason Jones and Blake Sporer.
Play Up For A Title . . . The 11U Silver Division Champions. Hank Salceda, Marko Jovanovic, Ethan Cowan, Johnny Kim, Ben Karpuhov, Paxton Figueroa, Dillon Garcia and Sam Ng.
Bling Rings For The Champions . . . The 15U Silver Division champions. Johnny Abraham, Micah Bell, Mikey Miles, Thomas Sohnston, Aston Jetton and coach Mike Miles.
Take Down Another High School Team . . . The 14U team played up and won the 15U Silver Division championship. Coach Mike Mikes, Blake Sporer, Micah Bell, Reed Barton, Aston, Mikey Miles, Jason Jones, Johnny and coach Frank Salceda.
Playing Up Again . . . The 15U PV Breakers won the Silver Division runner up at the Nothin But Net Classic. Playing up were Mikey Miles, Micah Bell, Johnny Abraham, Aston Jetton, Amin Veera, Thomas Sohnston, Jason Jones. Coach Mike Miles.

Little League

• The Rolling Hills A’s came from last place to win the Minor Division championship game highlighting Peninsula end-ofseason Little League action.

With the regular season over, Peninsula Little Leagues are hosting the District 36 All-Star tournament with teams from all over the South Bay competing. As it stands now, there will be at least one local team in each of the championship games. Check out the next edition of Panorama for results.

No Minor Thing . . . The Lunada Bay Marlins had a great playoff run and won the Minor Division championship.
Victory Splash . . . The Rolling Hills Mariners celebrate winning the Intermediate Division championship.
From Third To First . . . The Palos Verdes Padres upset the first-place Phillies to win the Major Division championship game.
Pirates Leave A Mark . . . The Palos Verdes Pirates held back the Yankees to win the Intermediate championship game.

District Champions . . . The 8U All-Stars brought home the District championship banner and will continue play at the State tournament this weekend.

Summer Softball . . . The 10U All-Star team continues to play at the State tournment this weekend in Irvine.

All-Star Season . . . The old Panorama cameraman has been busy this summer covering Peninsula All-Star action. Check out the next edition of Panorama in August for complete All-Star coverage.

Championship Rings . . . The 12U All-Star team won a little bling for their fingers at the District tournament and will play at the State Tournament this weekend.

Softball All-Stars Take The Stage At District Tournament

Palos Verdes Peninsula Girls Softball League sent three All-Star teams to the LA/ South Bay District Tournament recently. PV teams had a strong showing with12U team finishing in 3rd place, the 10U team finishing in 2nd place and the 8U team winning the championship banner.

With such a dominating performance against other elite teams, all three local All-Star teams qualified for the State Tournament to be held in Irvine over the 4th of July weekend.
