U14 Players Want A Crown . . . The King and Queen of the Hill tournament will be held next weekend at Ladera Linda Fields.
• The largest youth league on the Peninsula is holding semifinal playoff games today before final championship matches next week. The fall soccer season is winding down with only two more weekends of action left. The season will end next weekend with the legendary King & Queen of the Hill championships at Ladera Linda. Also happening this weekend is the beginning of the long PVBA season, and of course the Palos Verdes High football team will play for their second straight CIF championship tonight.
The Penguins Defense Tough To Break . . . The Penguins
will battle Tigers FC for a boys’ U14 King of the Hill title next week.
