• The largest youth league on the Peninsula is holding semifinal playoff matches today for the King and Queen of the Hill soccer tournament. As expected, upsets and surprises littered the Peninsula with last-place teams knocking off first-place teams in highly competitive playoff soccer. Semifinal games will take place today all over the Peninsula with King and Queen of the Hill finals scheduled for Dec. 7 at Ladera Linda Park.
